We listened to 8 voices last week from Group A out of which only 3 were chosen. Now its turn for Group B. The eight contestants who performed today are Abhilasha, Vipul, Amitabh, Aditi, Ryan Das, Sanchari, Prantik Sur and Dipin. Singing wise, This was another great episode. The contestants who got out today are Sanchari and Ryan Das. The remaining six will perform tomorrow and only three will get entry to final round.

After long and lengthy process of auditions, Amul Star Voice of India has got the top 33 contestants from all over the India. Now these 33 contestants will be divided into four groups with 8 contestants in each group. Every week, one group will perform and only three contestants will get entry to final round (Bemisal 12). Today, it’s turn of Group A to perform on the stage. Out of 8, two will get eliminate in Fridays episode while three will get eliminate in Saturday’s episode.
So today, the first Group will perform on the stage. Also, the pattern of judges’ decision is also changed. This time, our judges will make separate decisions of their own, instead of collaborating like before. Each judge will give points for performance. whoever gets the most points will stay and who gets the least points will go.
The first contestant to perform is Sumitra Iyer:-
She is software engineer but she left her job to participate in Star Voice of India. Her parents are really angry with her but she is confident that she will make through it…

Second contestant: Ishmeet
He’s from Ludhiana. When he was chosen all of the Sikh people got very proud of him. He is very proud that he is the first Sikh who was chosen on any singing talent hunt show.

She has never gone away from her parents, but her dreams brought her so many miles away. She’s always much tensed. Her family wishes her good luck for the contest

Fourth Contestant: Arvind Dhadwal from Kolkata
He lost his parents in his early age but his grandmother and wife encouraged him a lot. He has left all the responsibilities behind just for the singing and he wants to become Voice of India.

Abhijeet likes his voice and thinks he sang in his voice and didn’t copy Kumar Shanu but Jatinji thinks contrast.

Sixth Contestant: Karishma Kini
In audition, she sang song from Bagban and everyone prised her a lot. Karishma has a wish to go around the world and wants everyone to notice her.

Eighth Contestant: Tanushree from kolkata
Everyone in her family is in music. She has dreamt of being a play-back singer since childhood.

Results:
After revealing the secret points the final verdict is Chaitanya is out with lowest points of 28, while there is tie between Karishma and Tanushree (both got 30 points). So, they both will perform tomorrow. In Saturday’s episode, four (instead of 3) will get eliminate.

If Sa Re Ga Ma Pa on Zee thought it had worked out a master-blaster of a plan by getting Asha Bhonsle on the show, then they’ve a shock awaiting them. For the grand finale of Star’s Amul Voice Of India, Gajendra Singh has convinced Lata Mangeshkar to preside as the chief guest and super-judge .
The reluctant diva was convinced, via her sister Usha Mangeshkar, to be part of the reality show. Says a source, “Lataji has always been shy of going on TV and she had completely turned down Gajendra Singh every time he had approached her. What tilted the scales in his favour was sister Asha Bhonsle’s appearance on Zee TV’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa . Apart from the fact that Lataji’s family convinced her to be on the rival show, she is very impressed with the new musical talent. She has encouraged everyone from composers Laxmikant-Pyarelal to singers like Suresh Wadkar, Anuradha Paudwal , Alka Yagnik, Sunidhi Chauhan and Shreya.”
Though no money has been discussed, apparently a handsome donation will be made to Lata Mangeshkar’s hospital in Pune, in return for her appearance on the show.
This will be the singing diva’s first TV appearance since the music talent show Meri Awaaz Suno on Star Plus, which she had co-produced. Confirming the news Gajendra Singh says, “Yes, Lataji has agreed to be on our show. But it’s too early to talk about it.”
