The search begins with an intensive round of auditons in various cities across the country where our judges, a panel of stalwarts from the Indian music industry – Alka Yagnik, Jatin Pandit, Lalit Pandit, Abhijeet and Aadesh Srivastava will travel the country seiving millions of voices in search of true musical talent.
For the first time on televison, we will be showcasing auditions on such a large scale across 6 cities – Mumbai, Kolkata, Indore, Delhi, Jaipur and Lucknow. A selection of the best 32 will be brought to Mumbai where the real test begins to see who will emerge as the Amul Star Voice of India.
The show is hosted by the popular Shaan, who with his charming smile and endearing style instantly wins the hearts of all and takes us through weeks and months of tension and joy in the lives of the participants each one striving to achieve the epitome of musical success.

* final selection can be made by expanding the judges panel and limiting the final selection to scientific criteria as adding numbers or judges number & common audience poll count together
* the only female judge sound the most rationale commentor you can only hear comments like quality of voice, the tunes followed , sur sangeet from her

This is atif from pakistan sir i just want to say that make sure that the tushi come’s back other wise please close this programme you are searching voice of india and i think only toshi was a person who can be called voice of music u may searching indian peoples voice but i am thinking in different way i think the pannel of judges you have you should search voice of music and voice of music was Toshi. i also requests you if you still continue yor programme i will not see ur programme but i will see last epesode if you call Toshi in your last epesode and he sings after your canidate who will be your voice of india and then let the judges to comment truly

browsing through the spoiler results I came to know that Irfan might be eliminated.. this can’t be true.. either u people are manipulating votes or I don’t know. the serials trp’s will come down, if Irfan’s goes out. he has a great and a different voice.. Ishmeet and Abhaas are copying other singers while Harshit is horible. I would say you have to have to ensure that either Toshi or Irfan wins cause they both have unique voices and that’s what your show is aimed at. please please don’t manipulate votes.. Irfan has to stay. Otherwsie, our jojnt family, which consits of nearly 50 people (20 tv sets) will never watch the programme.

I think by bringing wild card entry, you did injustice with all BEST FOUR contestents, and since then all four are de-moralsied, Specially All the judges at one time and repeatedly said that HARSHIT is the right play back voice. But off lately he is also very down, and demoralised. And what little I know about music, so far HARSHIT IS THE BEST AND DESERVE TO BE VOICE OF INDIA
I DONT HAVE MUCH TO SAY EXCEPT THAT STAR VOICE OF INDIA IS FINISHED ITS DOOMED. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO POINT OF CONTINUING THIS SHOW WEN TOSHI THAT IS STILL THE VOI FOR US INFACT VOICE OF WHOLE WORLD AS DECLARED BY SAJID WAJIS IS NO MORE THERE. SO ONE SUGGESTION THAT DONT BOTHER TO CONTINUE THIS SHOW NEMORE CUZ ALL THE AUDIENCE HAS LOST INTEREST IN WATCHING THIS SHOW NEWAYZ. Probably I just got too much carried away in ma last comment as elimination of Toshi is just not acceptable as it was highly unexpected that he has to leave VOI widout getting that title. He deserves to Stay n Win this Title infact he deserves wayyyyy more den dis title ONLY. He has to come back……he deserves to b on that same very stage of VOI….

Here is an observation and suggestion,female singers are all out more so due to less votes and not coz of voice capabilities. see sumitra and priyani had sung so many low and high tones with rhythm and confort intact tht neither of male singer can compare with , but they r out.
wht if female voice of india is chosen separately, judges in the final show can probably decide
