Ryan Dias is a great singer. He can sing Western and Indian songs equally good. But he has the Hindi Language problem, so he does not understand so many things of hindi songs grammer. But, if he will be taught the hindi language properly for 1-2 years and come under a good hindi song mentor then he is definitely going to give real big hard time to the Current bollywood singers.
The problem with Sanchari is that she is very small for her age now to understand few things about the songs. But she has the greatest potential than any body else in the competition. She is going to be great playback singer in 3-4 years from now. Her Guru is right that there is no need to move your body to sing. But almost all the singers do that but that does not mean that one cannot sing without moving the body. She should sing the way she is comfortable.
By the way, Both of them are good but got eliminated b’coz of today’s performance. Others were too good in today’s performance. All These singers for SVOI with no mentor are far more better than SAREGAMAPA singers with mentor. Atleast here there is no compromise on singing quality.

I do agree to the comments in the begining of the thread. SVOI has better singers. They have good classical background and maturity in singing compared to Saregamapa’s singers. Saregamapa has good male singers like Raza, Musaraf, Harpreet, Joy, Amanat. Female singers are not that good in Saregamapa. And they are getting mentored by good music composers (Gurus) prior to their performance. But in SVOI the singers like Sumitra Iyer, Ishmeet, Abhilasa, Vipul, Thoshi are way ahead. Look at their singing they are so good. And they don’t have mentors as of yet. Look at the versatility of Sumitra and Abhilasa from their audition and first round performances. They are too good. Thoshi is from Sabri Gharana from Jaipore, Rajasthan. So his singing quality is not to be questioned at all.
So, I agree from the point of view singing quality that the singers of SVOI are better. But the judges of SVOI are rude though.
In Saregamapa it seems the Zee TV management is selecting the singers who needs to be in the next round unlike SVOI.
After all the great Gajendra Singh is parenting STAR’s SVOI now not the Zee’s Saregamapa. And he is a man of perfection, who has already given Antakshari and Sareggampa to Zee viewers and now SVOI to STAR watchers.
Watch out guys SVOI will go to the top soon.

Dear All,
I watch Saregamapa, SVOI and Indian Idol regularly without missing any episode and I feel that in Saregamapa, if you remove Aneek and Raja, there is not much to say. But in SVOI, dude…I really don’t have anyone to pick to remove. at least 8 out of 12 are awesome. Indian Idol – well, without Emon, there is nothing in that show. It is a purely kiddy kiddy show.

SVOI is better in terms of quality of voice. But the mentors are very harsh. Adesh and alka are pretty aweful. Even Abhijeet is very rude. Saregamapa is better in terms of gurus. Well, Raja is a star and Aneek and Amanat as well. SVOI has more number of better singers. I felt that Musarrat, Junaid, Harpreet could not have selected in final 12 of SVOI. I hate the attitide of people who are telling Mauli is a great singer. Man, you remove her and your show will get a better quality. I don’t know about others, but how Vishal Shekhar or Himesh gave 10 out of 10 to her. Waste…total waste. At the same time Raja and Aneek gets a 8/9. Sumedha gets a 8/9. Ridiculous.

I feel, Aneek and Raja should have come to SVOI. They are odd man out in Saregamapa.
One question, can we have Adesh Alka and Abheejit removed from SVOI? Instead, Gajju ji – please bring Himesh and Vishal-Shekhar in the show.

I agree with the above comments. Saregamapa mentors are good, but they have such an aweful lot to judge from, I pity those judges. Of course there are exceptions, Raja, Poonam, Amanat I think are really good. But others are very mediocre level.
But SVOI has gems when it comes to participants. It’s unbelievable, each one is sooo good. But the program as such is a little disorganized, we saw chaos earlier also and now the teams, agni and prithvi. Obviously anybody would go for a team of music directors than singers or singer rather. It won’t be fair to put some people in Agni and the others in Prithvi. Instead they should have made a combination of one singer and one music director. If Alka had a problem with Adesh, she could pair with Lalit and Adesh and Abhijeet could have been in one team. That would have been a good combination and a fair one at that.
