Videos of 14th July Episode of Amul Star Voice of India – Group D Selection

Written on July 16, 2007 – 6:06 pm | by admin |

This is the last episode of preliminery round before the grand finale rounds start. In previous episode all the contestants from Group D performed well. SVOI already had 11 contestants before this episode and it was like judges would select only one from Six. But finally they selected three contestant to go to Bemisal Bara – Prantika, Toshi and Harshit…It was another really wonderful episode …

Alka Yagnik is a dumb ass, and should be removed as judge. In fact none of the judges are fit to judge anyone. All the losers, came here to decide the fate of poor participants.

Hey i totally agree with you. They are unfit judges. I think the performers are so good and they get eliminated but i think they should start eliminating the judges one by one. Alka yagnik thinks she is the best singer and nobody can be like her eh!! WRONG

    lol

    Alka Yagnik is a big frog-faced DUGU-WUGU!

But at least, it is the experienced ppl who have some knowledge eliminating and keeping people. The singers are all soo good that some will have to lose. This system outbeats Indian Idol and SRGMP, where the stupid ‘Janta’ who has no clue at all about music and majority vote on sheer looks and personality. It has already been seen last year when Sandeep Acharya won Indian Idol, he was a loser compared to Karunya. Janta knows nothing but who will look good and dance around like a goofball! I would rather put the power in the hands of experienced singers and ppl who emanate from the music industry(basically DUGU-WUGUS), not some losers who vote based on ridiculous things like looks and regional biases!!!!!!

For me this is the best show. Full of Talents. Better than Saregamapa. The judges are serious here while evaluating. They are not freaking like the Gurus and guest judges are doing in Saregamapa. Even though they are fighting here, they are fighting for difference in judgement in singing quality, but not for personal liking. Only 2 singers in Saregamapa can participate along with these singers of SVOI are Raja Hassan and Amanat as they have similar classical background.
Indian Idol is not a true singing talent hunt, so should not be compared here. Karunya was there (II2) because of some mistake may be, he should be in these shows to prove himself.

Raja,Aneek and Amanath are the best on the srgmp show. But one has to remember that Aneek is regional winner and Amanath Ali was a also middle east winner..the show was then directed by Gajendra singh.I saw the clip where we saw some stalwarts from india and pakistan presenting the trophy to Amanath Ili.Those were wonderful days ‘sigh’. Hrishikesh Ranade too got an award in Dubai.
Coming back to the point, the mentors on srgmp could find only one ‘heera’among so many pretenders, that is not encouraging.
But, with Himesh’s astonishing fanbase and Vishal Shekhars popularity the show will be a tremendous success..but they have to keep mauli for more time..if you kill off the “vamp” so soon ,where is the heart burn, the rona dhona! The audience still has to mourn and blame her, for all the many eliminations to come-perhaps deserving eliminations. But it does feel comforting to pin all the frustrations and shortcomings of the show on one fall’girl’.
My show is SVOI!Only the singers matter to me nothing else.Watch out for Irfan this week. His ‘alvida’song is tremendous.

Yes I agree with you. Himesh and Ismail Make Mauli “Bali Ka Bakhra”.
And Irfan’s Alvida is excellent but we have to wait till friday. So Best of luck to StarVOI.

Out of all the musical talent shows ASVOI ‘s participants are most talented. Alka Yagnic has profound knowledge of music and the standard she sets for music is very high. Sriram was very talented singer, but unfortunately other judges eliminated him.
