I think this was the only episode where all participants delivered some rocking performance and this episode shall be remembered for long.
Pranthik and Ishmeet
Great performance. There was a big variation in quality of voice, excellence of chemistry and superiority of energy between Pranthik and Ishmeet. Hard luck for Pranthik.
Priyani and Ashpreet
Both were great. There was just a difference in quality of voice, otherwise was a great performance. Hard luck for Ashpreet.
Toshi and Harshit .
WHAT A PERFORMANCE GUYS . Only difference I could see that Toshi was singing so comfortably where as Harshit was bit uncomfortable. I am very happy for Toshi as he is back in the contest. Toshi ROCKS the floor so flawlessly. The way judges welcomed his entry was well deserved. If this is the hint of who shall be VOI, then I think Toshi deserves to be VOI.
Abhilasha and Sumitra
Great performance. Sumitra’s voice suits for party songs and she sang well. Abhilasha was also in full swing.
Irfan and Abhas
Great performance. Both sung very well. I think this was the first time that irfan was singing a classical song and he justified his presence in final 4.
I was staggered on Jatin Lalit’s behavior today when shaan announced difference in votes. If 16 is a number that cannot be considered, then why he didn’t shout when Toshi was eliminated and vote difference was only 25 between him and Abhas? Once again, he has showed his partiality, because he was frightened that if his favorite contender Abhas could have got fewer votes as compared to Pryiani. Alka did show some sportsmanship as Priyani’s entry could give tough time to her favorite Abhilasha.! I think it was contempt for Wild card entry Judges who did not recommend Abhas. Wouldn’t they raise questions that why were they invited to pass on the verdict for final 4? If Judges for VOI were so keen to use their veto power, then why didn’t they use it beforehand? Why this whole drama is set on fire?
Lastly, there was another drama in full dress rehearsal show at 6pm today. Sumitra fan was shown fighting with the security guard because he wanted to meet her and was not allowed to do so. Finally, Supervisor of their residence was called and he took himself that fan along with his dadi who was die-hard fan of Sumitra. I could not stop laughing as I thought, I am watching some drama serial on Star plus. VOI producer should have directed this drama more faultlessly because face expression and body language of all participants clearly showed that they were not feeling comfortable being part of this drama.

and please dont write down your favorites , i dint see the show will gonna today repeat telecast and will tell mine.
again please just dont go for favourites but for good singers.

hi friends,
its been two weeks since i have been reading your posts. Actually I started reading it after watching the show on 28th September. So far, majority of the people writing in the blogs over here have been sensible and careful with their words.
Now I would just like to say one thing. This show started with a good intention at getting a credible singer for SVOI and even the judges were going about their job impartially. But after the final 12 were selected, they were divided into two teams i.e. Agni & Prithvi. Now this is where the problem started initially becase the two teams started indulging in one upmanship and the public reacts to many things that are said on live television. Add to that, we have a system of voting out the contestants. Therefore what one sees and hears on television has an outcome on the decision of one’s vote which sometimes result in a deserving candidate getting voted out early.
So for all these weeks we have seen a lot of drama happening in this show. And what I saw in last night’s show has made me give ZERO points on the very credibility of this show. A wild card entry is supposed to be given to only ONE person but now we have THREE contestants ruling the roost thanks to the partiality shown by the judges of this show.
Do you think it is fair to the TOP FOUR contestants? I don’t think so.
These contestants have been brought in so that singers like Irfan, Ishmeet & maybe even Abhilasha are voted out. Because the mindset of the judges is that tip three should be Toshi, Abhaas & Harshit. I maybe wrong, but gathering what i have seen in the last few episodes, I can only come to this conclusion. So why have the system of public voting when the judges are given a full hand to manipulate the results? This really sucks !!!
Last but not the least is that I am a little amused at bringing “Daler Mehndi” as a guest for Saturday night’s episode. Even though I might be sounding too far fetched, I personally think that bringing him on the show is more of a damage control exercise undertaken by the producer of this show because of the “communal comments”, one of our esteemed judges had made to a contestant on this show (if you know what I mean),
Thanks and Regards,
sethib………..

Hi friends,
Just to let u know that the show does not have any credibility, i wish to inform you that during the wildcard round, Sumitra’s recording was done a day later in which she was refusing to sing. Please visit this link to confirm my comments. http://www.india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=746602

I’ve been following SVOI since quite some time and this blog, since last month or so. And I find striking similarities between the two with regards to the direction they are heading, i.e. down south in terms of quality!
SVOI the serial has been reduced to a Star Plus Saas-Bahu kind of soap opera! They had a great panel of singers, but internal politics, choice of a voting system which does not agree with what the producers claim abt he show, and an utter mess of the wildcard drama has reduced the show to shambles. Shastri Ji had the last word on this when he wrote that Gajendra has been RGVd!
Unfortunately, some of the posters to this blog have also decided to outdo the show in terms of how low they can go! Or maybe the blog has started attracting wrong sort of people with pint sized brains who are unable to understand some basic facts and keep on droning endlessly about some travesty someone committed on the show and then accusing all the posters on the blog for the same!
No one stops you from speaking in favor of your favorite participant, but then stop denigrating other singers. Especially when such eminent personalities like Khayyam Sahab and Jagjit Singh have already appreciate the singer in question, namely Toshi.
Surely you CANNOT claim to have a better judgment with regards to singing capabilities than these people. Or then, maybe seeing your track record, you can! But then the obvious question is, which dope are you on?

Jatin,
Get a life man and go to an ENT specialist to clear the wax filled in your ears that has made you tone deaf. If you call Toshi a bad singer, you are really worth pity. Let me tell you who all have praissed Toshi – Jagjit Singh, Padmashree Parveen Sultana, Kalyanji, Khayyam … and the list continues. Do you think you can understand music better than these legends? You have a pitiful mindset and a vile tongue. I think you should sit on the traffic signal and beg for money to clear your own ears.
How does it feel to hear the same language on yourself which you use on talented singers like Toshi?
By Anjani11 on Oct 6, 2007 | Reply
Shanker…I would not waste time in educating Jatin in regards to Toshis singing, Id take it as a compliment on Toshis singing, like Ive said earlier, a person is not famous until ppl start hating on their sucess and I guess Jatin is the shame for Toshi…hes a awesome singer so Jatin can keep thinking what he wants to think..a few bad thoughts will turn into blessings for him…HE was AWESOME on the preformance last night…hey guys was it just me being baised or was Harshit trying a little harder to sing with Toshi, I kinda got the feeling that in the end Harshit was trying to get ahead and finish the song..??? unless its just my dislike of Harshits singing just speaking..
By John Galt on Oct 6, 2007 | Reply
Hi Anjani,
I was quite fond of Harshit until recently when he made the comment aganist wild card entry while he himself forgot songs twice and still got a second chance. I have not seen Harshit singing difficult songs. He sings popular and easy songs. Hence if you put Toshi as a contrast, you easily see the capability of the remaining participants – doodh ka doodh paani ka paani. I think Abhas’ classical base is stronger than Harshit’s and Abhas has chosen difficult songs several times. So you are right, I too felt Harshit extremely concerned that Toshi is on the stage with him and I too felt that he was trying to finish the song to prevent Toshi from showing his talent.
Regards
John

….in contrast, I wasnt a particular fan of Irfan’s, but I loved the way both Abhas and Irfan sang Laga Chunri Mein daag. This is an extremely difficult song to sing properly. As usual Abhas chose a difficult, challenging song and Irfan matched talent. I loved them both. In case of Sumitra and Abhilasha, it wasnt a memorable performance, although Sumitra definitely shined clearly above Abhilasha.

guys, IGNORE JATIN. That’s the best way to cure his demented incorrigible behaviour.

DEMENTIA DEMENTIA DEMENTIA. CAUTION DEMENTED JATIN IS ONLINE. People who put Ishmeet and Toshi in the same category should not be taken seriously. Please pity them for their condition
By John Galt on Oct 6, 2007 | Reply
Although I too wasnt very happy that Toshi went down to his knees to beg for votes, that gives me no reason to question his talent. He is extremely talented singer. Jatin, I agree with Shankar’s comment that you cannot, absolutely cannot compare Toshi and Ishmeet. I agree that injustice was done upon Ishmeet by Abhijeet’s careless comments and although I dont like Ishmeet’s singing, I was quite proud of the way he handled that situation. He has a very upright, simple and pleasant character. HOwever saying that, it does not make him a great singer. He, by his own admission, has said he has only started learning music. People like Toshi, Priyani, Abhas, Irfan have been learning music (riyaz) for several years and that training reflects in their singing. Ishmeet can be VOI but several years later. I empathise with him with regards to Abhijeet’s comments, but we should not let emotion overrule sanity and judgement.

The ‘Fabulous Four’ were to be curtailed to the ‘Top Trio’ or the ‘Terrific Three’ but now Star Voice of India is back to the ‘Saath Sur’. The show had gained a lot of popularity not just in India but in other parts of the world as well but has now become ‘Very Ordinary Indeed’. The reason, as everyone knows, is the wild card entries. The show has become somewhat comical for some and a farce for others. The judges are rooting for their favourites (Toshi, Abbhas and Priyani in particular) and have totally forgotten about the top four (Harshit, Irfan, Ishmeet and Abhilasha), which is kind of disappointing. These same respected judges, most of whom have lost a little bit of respect now, selected the ‘bemisaal banraan’, then why this bias towards some of the contestants. When the show started I always felt Harshit, Toshi and Abbhas would be the top three but if the janta had eliminated two of them, it was just tough luck. The format was known to everyone concerned before hand. Why bring back the ones who had been eliminated? Won’t this step demoralise the top four? It’s really a shame! All the contestants should hold equal value in the eyes of the judges but that is clearly not the case. Why was Priyani held back when she had got fewer votes than Abbhas? If the judges could use their veto power to retain Priyani, they should have at least tried to stop Ashpreet too, because she sang better than Priyani in the last show. All this clearly shows the bias of the judges, which is sad in a way. I just hope the janta would do justice to Harshit, Irfan, Ishmeet and Abhilasha and not vote any of the wild cards into becoming the Star Voice of India, as nothing would be more farcical than that.

And please stop convert this blog into a racist blog. Dont make it worse than the show already is. I come from Mumbai, yet I support Toshi over Sumitra (mumbai) and I felt bad the way Ishmeet was treated. I agree that there is partiality in this contest, and that the contest is in a mess, but please do not overcomplicate the situation by putting a racist overtone to all this. Dont abuse the freedom on this blog. Rest is upto you.

VOTE FOR ABHAS, ABHAS ROCKS. SUMITRA’S ELIMINATION WAS UNFORTUNATE. ARSHPREET ALSO DESERVED A PLACE IN PLACE OF PRIYANI. ABHILASHA MUST BE ELIMINATED THIS TIME.

I’M TOTALLY DISAGREE WITH WILD CARD ENTRIES. IT IS NOTHING BUT STUPIDITY. ONCE THE RULES OF THE COMPETIOTION ARE SET IT SHOULDN’T BE CHANGE FOR 1 OR 2 PARTICIPANTS. I KNOW THAT TOSHI AND ABHAS ARE GOOD BUT NOW THIS IS NO MORE A FAIR COMPETITION. JUDGES ARE MODIFYING THE RULES AS AND WHEN THEY FILL THAT THEIR FAV. PARTICIPANTS ARE ELIMINATING.
THE SHOW WILL LOOSE ITS CREDITABILITY IN LONG RUN
SIMPLY UNJUSTICE TO HARSHIT, ABHILASHA, IRFAN AND EISHMIT/

bhijit is a sick man.I totally condemn the act done by him against Ishmeet in last episode. LOOK GUYS, These people who are sitting as jury are worth of any penny today. They are only making money by doing stage shows, reality shows & sopmehow managing their households. They are like puppets as whatever channel says ,they do, no matter if sentiments of any contestant or audience are hurted, it doesn’t bother them. They hv to make money 4 themselves & the channel who is paying them.
I hv seen so many blogs… can anybody tell me what volume of work these so called judges possess today?
I mean, in hw many films, Mr Abhijit & Ms Alka Yagnik are singing & In how many films, the music is of Mr Adesh Srivastava or Jatin-Lalit?
Can somebody tell me? If you search… you will find that all of them are jobless having no songs or films in their hand…. & all the market has been captured by young music directors & singers…. all of you know the names of today’s leading music directors & singers.
So, all of this mockery is being done for their bread n butter & nothing else….
Rishi, I think ,u will be agree wid me.

Iam sad coz singers like arshpreet & sumitra has been eliminated. All charm of the show lost. There is only priyani left on this show to whom I would like to see. Priyani is a fighter who always attempted difficult songs.

Dear John and Anjani,
I have been reading comments on Toshi bending down on his knees and appealing for votes and allot of people has criticized him as well.
I was bit surprised on his move as well. I live in a country where there are hundreds of bars. At some places, I have seen quality singers wasting their talent. The only reason I could see behind this is economical circumstances and luck. I must say that if given chance, that singers might deserve a place in final 12 of VOI or other talent hunt shows, but it’s just their luck and circumstances, that won’t allow them to do so.
Now when we talk about Toshi, he had been doing same kind of act just to make both ends meet. His brother Sharib was among top 12 of Sa Re Ga Ma Show in 2005 but was eliminated in earlier stages. History repeated and Toshi was eliminated in earlier stages as well, but I think it’s a luck factor that Wild Card round was introduced and he is back in finals.
I think it was economical factor that he bent down to his knees and asked public for votes. Even though we all know that manipulation of votes is a regular practice in VOI now, but still he wanted to get public aware that he deserves a place.
Lets all of us put our efforts together to make sure that he is not forced to do the same act again because he deserve to be there in grand finale and my prayers are for Toshi to be VOI. I hope you all agree with me.
Now if we talk about Abhijeet’s comments over Ishmeet, PELASE note that is nothing more than a drama. If you see previous episodes, Agni mentors and so called neutral judge Jatin Lalit have being passing on harsh and agonizing annotations to Prithvi’s participants. Irfan, Abhilasha and Ishmeet, all of them are victim of their biased acts. While talking on facts, 3 of the judges (Jatin, Lalit & Adesh) belong to same family. Jatin and Lalit are brothers and is brother in law of Adesh. Where as Alka Yagnik and Abhijeet are set apart. As we, all know that a music director is more dominant than a singer is. Abijeet and Alka cannot influence these 3, where as thay are more influential than Prithvi’s mentors. You all must have noticed, whenever Abhijeet need to influence that show, he always consult Adesh because he know that he is more influential.
As far as Jatin is concerned, he did appologised to Toshi in previous blog, but I do not know what the reason he is again doing it. Well… time is the biggest asset and I think he will write mature comments in future.
I hope I delivered my opinion in right way.!

Guys,
Here is my take on the Oct 5th episode.
Kunal and Konkana’s reaction along with Shan and the judges clearly indicated that they were very well aware of the results.
The most funny part was when Shan announced that the vote difference is only of 16 votes between Abbhas and Priyani. My feeling is that the votes for Priyani were higher than Abbhas otherwise there is no way that Priyani would have been asked to join the top 4. No way at all Aadhesh would have been sitting quite. The reasons I say this is:
1. The moment some one from the audience said that since the vote difference is so small, dont reveal the results. But, Lalit said “let us follow the protocol” because he knew that Shan is going to announce Abbhas’ name. Once Abbhas name was announced, Lalit commented in favor of Priyani. This was so ridiculous.
2. Alka stood up asking GS for Priyani to come back. funny..
3. Why were Priyani and Ashpreet called together and when they were called, Kunal said he is sure that one of them will be the winner.
4. I am never convinced with Jatin’s comments. Abbhas is his only favorite and since he has told Abbhas in one of his presentations that “agar mera 10 dabe to tere liye hi dabe” and this time Jatin will do it.
Star plus started showing the glimpes of “wild card entries episode” coming soon ever since Priyani was eliminated. Then why did they wait for Mirande, Abbhas, and Sumitra to get eliminated? This is just unjustice to the fabulous four.
The whole purpose of this episode was to bring back Abbhas and Toshi. This was the only reason why Ashpreet was eliminated because then all the three entries would have been from the Agni team. Priyani got lucky and entered the the pool of the then top 4.
The next four episodes, we will notice how Abilasha, Ishmeet, Priyani, and Irfan will be knocked out. The final three will be Toshi, Abbhas, and Harshit.
Guys, they have already decided who the real winner will be!!
Poor Ishmeet, he was purposely insulted by Abhijeet and Aadhesh. There was not at all any need for mentioning what Aadhaesh got as a text message and now from my point of view, that text message was not sent but it was a MADE UP comment to fool people and insult Ishmeet. I feel the same way for Irfan; Aadhesh has never appreciated his performance.
Watch SaReGaMaPa – a much better episode than VOI. Amanat, Oneq, and Raja will entertain better than the VOI contestants. Their mentors are friends. Look at the way they talk. Here in VOI, the mentors themselves dont agree to themselves and fight against each other unlike SaReGaMaPa. There is no difference between the contestants and the mentors.
Look at the mentors here, Jatin has the veto power who is Lalit’s brother and I have seen him favoring all the Agni participants..
But in any case, yesterday’s episode was great. Everyone did a fantastic job.
Cheers

I have been watching this show for just a month or so now but I have got to say that living here in America, I am proud of people like Gajendra Singh who have conceprualized shwos such as these and allowed for young unknown talents to sing in a public platform.
However, the selection of judges and their conduct is anything but professional. The very idea of the ‘wild card’ is soemwhat WILD and ridiculous and totally unfair to the four contestants who amde it to what you call the ‘fabulous Four”.
Gross….
Harshit, you are very talented and an excellent singer as is Ishmeet and are Irfan and Abhilasha.
Well, my own favorites are the three guys who I think are each equally good. God Bless you and Best of Luck – Youw ill need it with these judges, some of them at least who are very biased.
By Ramani on Oct 6, 2007 | Reply
Anjani and John, I completely agree with you both. I had the same feeling when I was watching the Toshi and Harshit’s performance. It clearly showed the flaws of Harshit and he is trying so hard to keep up with Toshi. I admired Toshi for his voice. I don’t have music knowledge, but, for me – when I close my eyes and listen to someone, I should feel, I am listening to a good singer.
Apart from Toshi, I like Irfan alot. He has improved tremendously from his earlier songs and he is giving very good performances episode after episode. But, now I feel with the whole drama going on and so much favoritism, Irfan hardly survives one week or two. I wish him to see in the Grand Finale along with Toshi – may be it won’t happen.
But, I always had another feeling that, irrespective of the VOI title or not, all these good singers should get offers. Eventually, that is the most important thing.
By anoop on Oct 6, 2007 | Reply
I’m a self-confessed Toshi fan and am deeply impressed with him for more reasons than one.
However, somehow, I found that special spark missing in his last two performances. I hope I am wrong here though, but I’ve listened to his earlier performances a number of times, but ‘vent really felt like playing the last ones, including the one in today’s episode. Even if my feeling is correct to an extent, I am quite sure that this dip might be due to a sore throat or something equally trivial and he’ll bounce back in the coming episodes.
Coming to the discussion regarding his begging for votes, our very own “John Galt”
had an interesting comment to make that even if this guy is not “John Galt” (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atlas_Shrugged), he does belong to his Gulch.
Ever since the first episode, Toshi has always shown tremendous faith in his abilities. He knew he has put in the required, or maybe more, effort in his riyaaz, and he believes in himself. Just check out his first performance and what he talked about in Jaipur to understand what I am referring to.
During a vote appeal, his refrain always has been… “Main aapke ek ek vote ka karza ek ek sur se chukaaonga”. He doesnt believe in taking obligations. He knows and is confident of what HE has to offer and this is what he has talked about… and nothing else.
THEN… he got eliminated. And it was clear from his reaction that this didnt make sense to him. And it actually didnt make sense to a lot of people! Had eminent judges been responsible for evaluating the contestants, this could’nt have happened… atleast not until the last 2-3, where a single performance can tilt the balance. But this was voting system, and to an extent voting does not have anything to do with evaluating talent.
So, I guess Ateeq has a pertinent point that the event shook Toshi up as he was afraid of landing up in the same ghettos of bars. And thats why he did something very unexpected by going down on his knees for votes. Do note that he was not at all comfortable doing that. Listen to what he said and its clear that this was something very uncomfortable for him, something he was not used to doing… but that FEAR had shaken him!
All in all, maybe this was a singularly bad dream for Toshi, but definitely nothing more than that. This single event does not change or is not a true reflection of what he actually is… a fierce competitor (listen to his Kaho Na Kaho… he didnt miss a single arabic (my guess… not actually sure abt the lang) word in the song!), a man who always gives more than 100% and who just believes to be judged on merit…
It does help that he’s also quite talented as a singer and has the **potential** to go a long way!
To realise the potential though, he’ll need to continue to believe in himself, continue the good work, keep his courage and not give in the next time he stumbles.

Hey Guys…
Im glad a few agreed with my views on Toshi and Harshits preformance, I thought maybe I was just imagining things because to me Harshit is an average singer..nothing special, the guy can sing within his limits..put him out of his comfort zone and hes just as average as Ishmeet, who I must say I prefer over Harshit’s voice, Ishmeet has a pleasant voice and I agree with an earlier post when someone mentioned that he suits Karan johar songs..
John and Ateeq – in regards to Toshi begging for votes, when I first saw him do it, my first thought was “you are too good for this, and that Toshi does not need to beg for votes in order to be VOI”…the I thought that th only fact that I didnt like about the appeal was the bit he said about the Ghandagi thing…apart from that I see passion in his eyes for singing..he just wants to sing either way..I have never had an issue with him begging for votes..BUT hes a smart guy…he knows how the game works, Harshit stuffs up 3 x in 2 songs and he is still the higgest vote getter because Lalit says that he lives with his grandma, so I guess what he did was fair..u gotta be in to win right and now hes in.
By Anjani11 on Oct 7, 2007 | Reply
I have a theory..that Toshi was not voted out by public….he was the pure favorite ..and he was used to generate publicity just to get to the wildcard part of the show..what makes me say this is how VOI have been using Toshi as their masterpiece in the show, where they let everyone sing and then ppl have to wait for ages to watch Toshi sing right at the end..everyone was SHOCKED to see him go..and wht pissed me off was Jatin making that speech abt Abhas and the 16 votes…WHERE was the VETO POWER WHEN TOSHI WAS ELIMNATED by JUST 25 freakin votes…they could have done something then right, but in order for the wildcard round to happen they needed Toshi..I read in Toshis article in regards to him being expolited b4…I wonder if he realises that I think thats what happened again…I may be way off the mark here..

Hi..okay now my take on the DALER pajiiii’s episode…Toshi Toshi Toshi…okay we have a lot like Kailesh kher and now better we look for some good voice…Why people are ignoring Harshi it’s a point…If you are trying to say that Harshit is underdog ..I wish he should be like this for many times Underdogs are the winners…Harshit is the one who came to VOI o his own guts not like oshi whose elder brother was once a contestan in sa re ga ma pa and good relatios with Gajendra ji and Irfan who never misses any competition…Harshit is the one who has some gutts.when gajendra singh asked for the wild card entry ..he asked the contestants for their vote…I am happy to know that atleast one guy had thatcourage to write No one in the paper..That’s like a man..He is in VOI due to his hard work and singing and why not so far he is there without any Crow Crow pomp and show off..people saio about Dadi drama..why not ..any grand so could have done this..and VOI invited every family members on the stage and paid their Airfare…
Harshit should be the winner..and he will be.He sang beautifully and we can see his face as he knows so well that what’s going on in VOI…
Gajendra singh ..their’s a big questionmark on your prog and the format..

If you have noticed lately, when this wild card drama started, there is a distinct change on the faces of all participants – eliminated or otherwise. Everyone is sort of waiting for this competition to be over even if it does not end in their favour. If you look at Abhas’s face, Harshit’s face, Irfan’s face, Ishmeeet’s face, Sumitra’s face etc, you will notice that there is distint sense of helplessness, haplessness, delirium, confusion, anger, frustration, pain etc. This show has brought out and epitomised the worst facets of human behaviour. The show has successfully demoralised a bunch of young talented aspirants. Instead of generating interest in Indian music, this show has reflected what India is suffering from in all dimensions – Politics and lawlessness. Indian bureaucrats and politicians, Indian cricket board, indian film industry and now a previosuly honourable Gajendra Singh – all of these have been infected by the same reason why India as a country always struggles to reach its optimal potential – Politics, bureaucracy and lack of respect for law. Everyday Indians break law as individuals and as a mass and this show has now glamorised this behaviour. Its sad to see a quality producer like Gajendra Singh having degraded to this extent. However Indian music industry is equally to blame. The four judges are metaphors of gali ka gunda. Just as hooligans get their way around by creating a sense of fear in the community, so also are these four judges are getting their way around by jumping, fighting, overacting, throwing tantrums etc on the stage.
This is a vicious cycle – a loose manager – Gajendra Singh, a greedy channel – Star, a ridiculous format – public voting, incorrigible judges and lack of clearly defined rules. – A recipie for confusion and degradation. In this confusion and chaos, a group of almost 12 talented (some are not talented at all) people have lost their innocence and have been taught that in order to succeed in Indian music industry, you should do everything else, except honing your singing ability – you should know how to play politics, you should know how to exploit the judges, you should know how to play “Iam a poor thing, vote for me”, you should bring your family and create a “Saans bhi kabhi bahu thi” drama on the stage, employ people’s sympathy etc.
This show is teaching the new Indian generation a perverse way of being a good singer. I am disillusioned in Gajendra Singh who is the single most person who has to be blamed to most. He did not rein in his troops – be it participants, orchestra, judges. I think he should either quicly learn from this severe mistake he has committed – a crime against the holy Indian Music, a crime againt the respected stage, or he should quit dealing with music. Because if he continues like this, he is going to create another form of corruption in India (as if it needs more of that) – corruption of a very pure entity – music.

Reality Shows are nothing, but IMHO, a tacky, insensitive and cheap Substitute for the regular Soaps and stuff. It is a cheaper alternative – specially for home grown formats like VOI, NB3, JDJ, Laughter Challenge etc. where they don’t have to pay a hefty licensing fee to the originators like in the case of Indian Idol or KBC. And they wont have to put up with the likes of an Ektaa Kapoor.
These shows prey on the people’s innate desire to watch what’s behind the curtains, and also the “real” reactions and emotions which would not be matched by the greatest of thespians, however hard they try.
The shows are a great way for the channels to up their TRPs and also a cash cow which can be milked long after the shows’ been taken off air.
1) Through the Shows – the Endorsements; the Ad Sponsorships; Title Sponsorship; concerts and so on
2) Voting Revenues – SMS & Voice – small percentage; nevertheless revenues anyways.
3) Content Syndication – For DVD, VCD VHS rights; Re-broadcast Rights; Tracks on CDs & Tapes
4) Appearance rights – where for the next few months the euphoria will still be high; we will have to talk to a Star or a Sony if we want any of the contestants/winners appearing for a function or performing. And we will be paying the channels and not the contestants themselves
5) Licensing & Merchandising – where a need is created in the people to own a bit of the show – like the Jacket worn by XYZ, or NB3 Teeshirts; Caps etc. L& M is a huge market today.
The bottom line of this is that Most of these shows have a huge fan following; of whom a mockery is being made of because of the stagemanaged elements in each of the shows. And the public is led on a merry chase saying that their votes influence the shows, which is then changed according to the whims of the Judges and producer.
I agree totally with Ateeq about the economic factors coming into play for Toshi’s appeal on his knees. Might seem cute in a quirky sort of way to a lot of people; shameless to others and so on and so forth. But the truth is what Ateeq has rightly pointed out. If you recall the Toshi Elimination Episode; he in his tears was repeatedly saying that “I don’t want to go back into that ‘Dirt’” referring to the squalor from where he comes. It is the Desperation; where he sees this as his last chance that made him do it.
As I am writing this; am watching, rather listening to the Sunday repeat of VOI in the other room. And on getting up and looking I see Prantik and Ishmeet singing Khalbali from RDB- if I had been a judge; I’d have asked both of them to leave the stage. There was no enjoyment or power in the “sound”, specially when I was hearing it from the other room.
I am quite pleased to see that now a lot of people are posting based on the singing and not their favourites; which would have made a big difference if the Judges also had been like that.
Lets assume for a moment that Toshi; because of whatever reasons; is the VOI. He gets a lot of adulation and endorsements. But 6 months after the show is over; do you think we will hear of him? Barring a few like Kunal Ganjawala, Shreya Ghosal, Sunidhi Chauhan and so on; which of the winners of these shows have we seen in the limelight after about a year of their winning? Where is Abhijeet Sawant, Qazi and the numerous other winners? They too go through the grind that other musicians and playback singers go through and some make it and others don’t.
The producers of these shows say – we just provide a platform that’s it. This is akin to saying here we have shown you to the edge of the cliff and pushing them off; because that’s what they do; as after one year, the producer is busy with the next edition of the show. Even though Indian Idol boasts about a contract with Sony BMG; it doesn’t help. What happened to Abhijit Sawant?
Any answers for these people who have been put out into the pastures??

A small correction – NB3 and JDJ aren’t home grown formats. Apologies.

How racist can a man be! The attitude is disgusting and Mr.Sadiq you need to get your thought examined! Harshit (Not HarShit) is a very talented young man and he speaks better HIndi than you do probably!!! Panwala or no panwala is none of your business or anyone elses! The competition is on the talent of the individual not his or her ability to speak HINDI nor what they or their parents do. As for drama, hey man, wakey wakey!!! tehre is enough drama all over, the show, on the site and in your own remarks. GOD bless Toshi and Harshit, both very talented young men!!!

I am sorry if my comments hurt u, I didn’t notice while typing letter “S” is in uppercase.

Regarding my hindi I don’t remember we have ever met somewhere because u are saying my hindi is weak and Panwala’s hindi is good
And yes correct hindi speaking is required if u are singing a song. Just imagine if Harshit sings a modern disco song and he cannot say hindi words properly then it will look like a Gaon wala singing a disco song.
U cannot compare Harshit with Toshi, u can compare him with Ishmeet even then Ishmeet is much better than him in singing and voice quality.
ITS JUST MY THINKING. Pls. keep ur head cool. Here people are giving their own opinions.

Mr Sadiq,
Shame on you for making communal statements on Ishmeet and Harshit. By referring to Ishmeet as Sardar who came in with his Sardar community. You have shown your narrow-mindedness.The big photo you were referring to was of Guru Nanak- who is respected and worshipped by Sikhs, Hindus and even some muslims.
Mr sadiq if you dont hv knowledge of something dont make senseless comments.

Harshit is a very good singer, though not my favourite. But he is a rock star. Crore times better than your Toshi.
Harshit atleast sings the song with a pure heart. he dosent bark like your Toshi.
Irfan is another darkhorse. He will suffer the most with the return of Toshi.

Hi John
You are spot on with what u say about how this show has demoralised the aspirants.
I too have noticed the expression of sheer frustration, bewilderment and tiredness in the faces of the participants.
I think they have stopped looking forward to the next episode. On other hand, they have seem to be in constant fear of what is coming their way by way of comments/verbal assaults from the judges
I just hope it doesnt leave an indelible mark in their minds about their abilities in this field.
It really is a sorry state of affairs

Hello Mr. Jatin,
Please mind your language. Do you think you understand music better than the respected stalwart of music industry like Khaiyam, Anandji, Ravindra Jain, Parveen Sultana? Everybody used to praise TOSHI………undoubtedly he’s the best. I agree today he was not at his form, but that can happen with any singer. Before putting comment like “barking” just listen to those wonderful songs sang by TOSHI once.

Purva,
By looking at all your comments I can only say that you have no knowledge about music and ur not a music lover, u love only Harshit whether he cannot sing difficult songs or his sur is no good, u just like Harshit, This is PURE favoritism. All the best to ur favorite singer.
But those who know little about music they know who is the best singer.

Let us make it a programme of music more than politics. Do you guys remember the initial days of Sonu Nigam’s Saregama? It was simple and music was primary. Judges were eminent and Indian classical background was appreciated. We have come a long way in terms of presentation and big artistes and videos but have lost out on the real content.
If Mr. Gajendra is reading this, may I suggest the following:
1. Scrap the Agni v/s prithvi business…. NO ONE IS INTERESTED !
2. Stop name calling. It doesn’t increase your TRP … believe me.
3. Be refreshing and polite with the contestants. They are trying their best.
4. Give 50% weightage of votes and 50% of invited judges ( not these 5 who should just give their comments and train the singers).
5. Invite judges of eminence as you did in the wild card round.
Best of luck
By jatin on Oct 7, 2007 | Reply
Vipin,
Its not the people its Abhijeet who converted this programme of music into politics. His blind support to Toshi is destroying him. Toshi would hv been much greater singer had he not returned vide wild-card entry.
Further Abhijeet is not apologetic for his inhuman behaviour towards innocent Ishmeet.Abhijeet is playing dirty communal politics on this otherwise great show.
VOI used to be my favourite programme, but this one man Abhijeet has ruined the whole show.

Sadiq okay I don’t have knowledge and you have done Prabhakar in music ..do you know what it is..???
I am looking for a talented singer who has so much of potential not like To SHI to get chance like a consolation prize or like a boy who is out of the game and when he starts cryin..any small left gift is given to that contestant…
ToSHI..your drama about your personality cannot overlook the game you have played with us alonhg with Gangendra …and ToSHI is also just a puppet but it’s a violation of other’s talent when you give another big golden chance to come back in the competition..
this is certainly not a competetion..
Gajendrs sing is responsible and these guys have to listen…
and for the judges come on guys they are unemployed ..they need attention and now they are almost frustated..
Abhijeet said ToSHI ..my beta…aray pehle apnay liye to kaam dekho…apni credibility ope usko kaam dilaoogay..:)
Sadiq I knwo when you support someone you support it very well.but at the end you must have no regrets about the efficiency of your contestant..
Harshit….let’s see who is going to win….you are doing a fantabulous job and so what this format is not for you…I bet you are the one people are gonna listen and that time they will be totally unable to turn off ..
Harshit’s singing is very clear ..He gives that emotional touch to the songs according to the demand…
guys forgot that so called dadi episode” Rooth kar humse kahi jab chale jaoogay..”
listen to that and who didn’t cry after listening that song…CERTAINLY IT WAS NOT A DRAMA …there were so many crying along with Harshit’s song
and that one Choriu chori chupke se of”Lucky” can ToSHI give us such a melody…
star VOI ….needs to change it’s dimension…
voting every where…I think after few days Yamarj will also start a voting system in his parliament and Chitragupt to count it ….
Sadiq …many of you have given the wrong pic of so many contestant here and thats not fair…Sumrita was the best in the female contestants ..but who is going to stand infront of this dirty politics..
in every show girls are left behind..
come on Gajendra and all music shows organizer…reservation for girls is in demand
Politics every where ..format is corrupted and smelling ….so what about women’s reservation…
Sadiq …talk what your feel….Don’t talk what others are yelling…..
but thanks …

Dear John and Joker,
You guys have written such an excellent observation. Now I doubt if Gajinder Singh reads this, he might offer you a contract for his next show. !!! (Just kidding) But seriously, Hats of to you guys for writing such an exceptional observations.
Regards to all others as well because as this show is approaching its closing stages, I think some guys are showing aggravation here, and I’m sure in the coming days we’ll see more and more unkind comments.
My modest request to everyone here,
Hey come everybody let us vote for talent without any bias for Region, Religion, States etc. One certainly has to make sure talent powerhouses, like Toshi, Irfan Abhas & Harshit are not left behind! They have to be there for India to rock in the entertainment panorama! like it has been in every meadow these days! Come on everybody vote for the right people! Open your eyes friends! Let us get some soothing voices for the future to relieve us from the stresses of the everyday world which is on the increase!

This blog has become nothing but a screamhouse where people are screaming their favorite contentants’ names for the most part. Admittedly, there’s only a couple of these, and many others are trying to bring some sanity, but the morons always win pissing contests.
Jatin is meandering about touting Ishmeet, Purva I’m simply not able to understand what with all the play with upper and lower cases.
Ishmeet has a good voice, that’s it! He cannot sing…. period. And people who’re yelling religion should just shut up and go away. If it’s too hard for you to do that I understand, I’ll just stop reading these posts.
Toshi, Abhas, Irfan and harshit are the only people who can sing best on this show. Panwala is a lowbrowed attack at people from UP, and beggar is a lowbrow attack on poor people. You guys who’re resorting to calling the singers these names are the worst kind of arrogant folks around.

Purva: I think I made my point very clear- Stop insulting the singers. And I did make my opinion known about who I liked as singers on this show.
I understand why you’re reacting the way you are, but this blog isn’t about you and me far as I understand.
I’ve followed this show from the very beginning, and in all of the episodes the four people I mentioned: Toshi, Irfan, Harshit and Abhas are the only ones who always stood out as really good. Ishmeet has never sung difficult songs, but he does has a smooth voice, sooted for ‘kal ho na ho’ kind of songs.
It’s a forgone conclusion that the show is about TRPs and money, so we have no choice but the take the drama that comes with it in our stride, or stop watching the show. The drama aint going to stop. I personally only watch is to see the performances of the singers I like.

…there you go again. Abihlasha once more forgot the lyrics, although this time she did not stop completely and pretended as if nothing had happened. How many times she should repeat this mistake before she is eliminated. Her voice does sound like permanent sore throat.I was happy that everyone gave her only 7 points. I would have given her much less.

Hi Purva,
I am happy that u agree u don’t know about music.
U r saying Toshi should not get Golden chance(Wild card entry) to comeback, but this happens in all talent shows. And the main thing is that I think Gajj played game on Toshi to eliminate him. I am sure in that elimination show Toshi was having good votes but Just for money(Wild card round) Gajj played politics on Toshi and Agni Judges maybe supported Gajj, because Agni Judges just say Toshi is the very best(Tayar) singer, but still they want Harshit to win voi, just because he is their favorite and yours too.
To the public VOI is SACHE SURON KIN JAI JAI KAR but for Gajj it is only SMS KI JAI JAI KAR.
U mentioned that Toshi cannot sing many types of songs …
You should know that:
Toshi has sung all kind of songs right from
Piya re (Lets say a Qawali)
to Sili Sili Hawa (say a folk)
Specially during this song all people were almost in tears. The guests also said that the way Toshi sing the song it was touching their heart and she wanted to cry.
And u r saying to Harshit song people cyring.
This is drama for votes.
And the other songs are
to Saqi (An Item Song)
to Yaar ko Maine Mujhe yaar ne sone na diya (A Film Song)
to Lagan Lagi (A Gazal)
and all to the perfection
and if I include “Teri Diwani” (A Classical – he sang it better than original as mentioned by none other than Jagjit Singh).
He is definitely a fantastic singer and he has shown all the Jauners of singing.
He deserves to be the VOICE of INDIA

Its good that Toshi & Abhaas are back in the contest and of course Priyani. It seems there is immense pressure on these three and it was quite evident from their last week’s performance. Hope they would recover soon and give their best performance in the coming episodes. However, I do not understand why on earth Mr.Lalit & Mr.Adesh are supporting Harshit so blindly. They indeed want him to be the VOI!!! But I honestly feel that Harshit mimics the original singer of whichever song he performs… if he sings Kishore da’s song he’ll sound like Kishore Da and if he sings Kumar Sanu’s song, he sounds like Kumar Sanu. He is not at all original and doesn’t deserve to be VOI, may be he has good “Sur or Tal”, but that is not the only criteria. VOI should be unique, his voice should be new to the music lovers. The most deserving to be the VOI are TOSHI, ABHAAS, Sumitra (of course eliminated) or IRFAN. If Harshit could be the VOI, then why not ISHMEET, at least he has an original voice, though doesn’t have a stage presence, which is his only drawback.

Hello Everybody
I hv been reading this blog for over a month and i like the concept of having a good healthy conversation between VOI lovers.
I am following VOI since Delhi auditions. And till date there is only one singers who empressed me is Toshi, he has a tremandous talent. He sings like he is just breathing, he is perfect in Intervals, notes & tempo. and above all he is a great performer.
Other singers like Abhaas & Irfan are also good, remaining looks very amuturish.
But i am in doubt whether VOI is fully honest in eliminations. sometimes they talk like the vote difference is 16, sometimes 25, do they think all viewrs aree fool in lakhs of votes this is extremly extremly rare possibility that votes defference is in just tens.
do they are disclosing the votes received to some legal body or they are just playing & using the talents of contestants to fill their vaults with cash.
I am sure they use public voting to earn money and all the results are predecided. Gajendra ji, I like ur SaReGaMa when their is no public voting, thats the time when we got singer like shreya. now do you know where are debojit & the runner up of Last Saregama chosen by public voting. Gajendra ji please close this public voting or atleast draw a formula where Judges points have as much value as public voting.

Sadiq – you summed it up for Purva..well written..exactly what I was thinking !!!
Now can a HarShit fan plzz type up the different genres of songs hes sung..?? ooo wait thats easy I can do that…umm Kumar Sanu copies and Kishore Kumar songs..and I must say HE HAS A LISP…PPL HE CANT PRONOUCE WORDS CORRECTLY..A LISP..DO U KNOW WHAT THAT IS…HE CANT SAY HIS SSSS PROPERLY..
Its not a case of talking abt your favourite, its abt saying whats right and whats wrong..Ive said it b4…Harshit will be VOI because its plain and simple ADESH AND LALIT LIKE HIM BETTER THEN TOSHI…ABLITY HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT..
This is the first show Im seeing for this kind, but Ive never been blowen away by a singer, Toshis first performance I thought he was good, but after Teri dewaani—WOW, breathtaking, plzz be honest and tell me Has any other contest given such soul touching performances like Toshi has..??..and I dont know anything deep about music but this much I do understand that music comes from the soul and if Toshi has limitations in his singing thats fine, what he lacks there he makes up in the soul..he doesnt just stand stiff and preform like others do..to me and I know there are alot who agree with me is the only reaSON I watch…:)
God Bless u Toshi..and Im sure he always will ..
N plzz refrain from calling him a begger..beggers can rise as well

Ok, Folks, here is something interesting for all you Einsteins to mull over. This is just the kind of example that illustrates the massive con that Gajendra Singh and Star try and perpetuate on the masses.I don’t know how many of you caught it ; on the Friday episode, check for Konkona’s reaction after Sumitra and Abhilasha are winding down their performance and now cut to Konkona’s reaction after Toshi and Harshit’s performance. What do you see? It is pathetic if it werent so hilarious. The reactions are EXACTLY the same, from the expression on her face, to her lips making an exhale to her adjusting her dress as she gets up and the standing ovation!!!!Why does Gajendra have to resort to such silly stunts? The instance in itself is trivial, but it just shows the liberal use of editing that Gajendra is using to edit out stuff that he thinks needs to be taken out.It also demonstrates a massive confidence in Gaj/Star’s perception that the public can be taken for granted.
No reality show edits content so blatantly (unless of course the content is vulgar, criminal or racist). So what is the sanctity of this show and it’s so called reality content?
The reason I thought I should raise this, because many of you on this blog are boiling their blood for some contestant or the other, please do not. This entire show is a work of fiction where the winner is only Star and Gajendra. The rest do not matter.
So chill and relate to this show, like you would to a work of fiction.
Cheers!

yes, pandit harihar shastri, i agree with what u mentioned in the konkana sen episode.I too noticed it, but didnt realise it for what it was.i just glossed over it.i just wish they would stick the programme to just singing, and not so much of gimmicks and drama….just to increase the TRPs.wonder if they are increasing tho.
i just wish they would stop the programme right now, and announce the star voiceS of india.
the programme started off quite well, and just degenerated, esp when the judges were split into two teams.it gave them enuff leeway to act as gods, which they did unabashedly.
have very neutral judges for the rest of the episodes and finish this sorry programe.the end losers are the singers, not the channel or the producer.
the singers look stressed out and tired, and its taken a toll on their singing, as the last two episodes show.
request to the producer, dont make the show worse than the depths it has been plunged to.

See what Times of India and Legend Singer Mrs. Lata Mangeshkar has to say on so called voting system of these days talent hunt shows. I think this is a big smack on Producers / Directors face as allot of people has already raised their grave apprehension over transparency of the voting format. Specially judges who are sitting there to make both ends meet and get new contracts by promoting spurious talent and Bollywood Director’s favorites, make these show more grubby.
I was very much right in saying beforehand that VOI is not a Talent Hunt Show, but it is JUST “MONEY HUNT SHOW”

It is good if it is true that Abhilasha is eliminated, and Purva I agree with Anjani’s comments that Harshit will be VOI because its plain and simple ADESH AND LALIT LIKE HIM BETTER THAN TOSHI…ABLITY HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT..
When we are talking of good singer Toshi comes first, everybody here agrees that Toshi is the only great singer in all VOI contestants, I did not mention that Toshi will win VOI, but I wish him all the best to win(Maybe this will happen only if the VOI team wakeup or if some great singers like Lata Mangesker or other legends comes in media and force them to stop Voting system) and if this happens I tell u Harshit will be the first to go. and this is a fake voting system, the VOI and the Agni judges just transferring others vote to Harshit, belive me, maybe in the finals they will bring Ishmeet and Harshit and if this two no sur monkeys comes to finals, then just think that this show is not a talent hunt show but money hunt show.
This is all preplanned, maybe they will eliminate next Irfan, then Abhas and then Priyani and in the finals Panwala will win and they will release a Bihari album of Harshit with BigMusic.

Another news: (possible spoiler)
It’s Irfan, Priyani and Abhilasha in bottom 3 – Rani Mukerji is the celebrity guest.. And she refused to do the elimination in front of her.. So now the eliminated contestant’s name would be read in Sat’s episode, shooting of which shall commence shortly..
As for Toshi, he’s the top vote getter. He got that bike.. (If this is indeed true, then my theory is so damn right.. He’ll be sweeping through every round now – )
Disclaimer: This is just a news I’ve heard.. Don’t know how far it’s valid though!

It’s Harshit’s ability not the BetA type support that kept him in VOI….
If Adesh and Laitlikes Harshit coz he is definitely the best amongst all…and if Abhijeet supports Toshi then what would you call…sheer drama Ultra stupid ,fake drama…
Alas..you admit that Harshit is going to win…but if Toshi wins then I am sure a album called “data ke naam pe de do baba” will be released for all the beggara…Ateeq I didn’t wan to use this word again but if someone uses derogatory words.he will get an answer and

Hello Sadiq Ateeq and Toshi lovers,
I surely and undoubtely agree with the comments and facts about Toshi`s calibre, guys just take it easy. there are some HarShit fans who are getting frustrated and feeling threatened about Toshi`s come back, and even that joker who always swear “saraswati mata ki kasam” is feeling uncomfortable.
I would suggest you to keep your cool, people all over the world have seen Toshi`s capabilities, and even legendary Jagjit Singh compliment him best. and you have seen people came out to the streets, cheif minister of rajasthan gives compliments, that four honourable judges on wild card show impressed with Toshi`s performance, times of india took`s Toshi`s interview. what else they want to know.
It is simple and plain that these people can`t see and digest his
success. I am sure that HarShit is going to become VOI with voting manipulation and jokers support. BUT THIS IS NOT THE END OF THE WORLD FOR TOSHI.THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING OF A TRUE STAR.
GOD BLESS

Toshi is not in Abhijit’s group(Prithvi), but still a singer(Abhijit) knows the Toshi is the only great singer in VOI. And Abijit praises good singer whether the singer is from his group or Agni’s group.
And if u have noticed Agni Judges they never really praised any singer from Prithvi like Priyani, Irfan or other singers.

Sadiq, what about that episode when Sanjay Leela Bansali was the guest, he is so impressed with his singing, and last friday`s episode.
“KISSE KE CHEKE CHOOT GAYE THE” while singing with Toshi. Panwala was so uncomfortable and Toshi was dominated all the way.\\
HATS OFF TO YOU TOSHI
Love from beautiful and green Auckland

I Agree with Dinesh and Sadiq. Well… I don’t want to say that Toshi is the only best singer in VOI, but I must that he is by far better than others. The way he plays with the notes and sonata of the songs within the limits is JUST astonishing. I was watching Teri Deewani (sung by Toshi) and noticed the face expressions of Alka, Adesh, Anhihjeet and Jagjit Singh. They were so amazed and it was clearly shown from their faces how happy they were from his presentation. This is just one example. If we see other videos, we’ll come to know more about Toshi’s perfection over sur & taal.
On the other hand, if we talk about Harshit and Abhas, They are good singers as well. Especially Abhas is so young and talented singer. I mean to say that in this age, he is singing so comfortably, and then what does going to happen in future. !! Harshit is a good singer as well. The only points that make a distinction between Toshi and Harshit are that Harshit don’t feel comfortable while singing but feel more stressed. He needs more practice and lectures on how to jump from lower notes to higher notes and how to stall in between. In my opinion, if he sings Teri Deewani, allot of confusions will be cleared.

Mr Awkard…HEEN DEEN …What are you doing there…??learn the spelling of Harshit and then yell here..can see how much you are frustated ..Guests are paid and they knwo what to say and whose prog is this and what will make happier to the prog maker..Harshit is the best and kisi ki chakke wakke nahi chute thay Mr Awkard…it was clear that how much pain the show is taking to rebuild again a good image of the beggar Toshi, waise he used to take these kharaats..not surprising at all..
Yesterday toshi got the Bike man..come on toshi bahut mil gaya ab to theek hai na..chalo rona nahi ab:)
this wild card entry is big drama just to throw out irfan and ishmeet and listen you all guys ..talent speaks, not the supporters..where were you when he was eliminated…????
One more chance to Toshi means corruption is prevailing in the music or so called talent hunt show…
you Mr what ever you are, who ever ,come back to india if you really are not here then..and join English classes here…
sHI sHI ToShI….SHAME ON YOU…your supporter are s mannerless…
Thanks Sadiq…I can rule on star plus and can replace Ekta kappor wow…wow..wow …you know, now all supporters of HARSHIT are really very talented coz their hero is also so much talented…Thanks again ..first tha invitation from ateeq and now replacing Ekta..
anyways Abhijeet praises Abhilasha also…wo bhi publicity ka bhookha hai…both Toshi and Abhijeet are sailing in the same boat…aray apnay se badhiya gaana gaane wala dekh raha hai then Abhijeet is playing all games ..shsssss I don’;t wanna talk about abhijeet ..He is useless…
Ateeq Teri deewani se hi judgement hoga kya bhai???…zara aur bhi kuch ga ke dekhaoo..
Harshit sang all the hits and strong numbers with great performance..
Ask Toshi to sing this.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=nvpfffGLPXU
I am sure he wil turn this song in some different genre….and it will be popular for the slums..Yes Harshit is stressed just because he is witnessing all the non-sense going out there,,
Toshi I am not your supporter but I like your sa re ga ma pa…
and Harshit you have to touch the heights ..Mahesh Bhatt and Pooja bhatt ..they have already signed Harshit for their upcoming movie..
Nice talking to you …

Rightly said purva, Guest are paid to deliver their judgment, that’s why Vishes Films offered songs to harshit.
Cool down man, I feel that you are Jatin’s soul. Whenever I read your comments, Jatin Lalit immediately comes to my mind who was about to cry on Abhas elimination. !!. Chill out and write some levelheaded remarks here. I’ve never said that Harshit is a bad singe and neither other. Don’t look ahead to everyone to write as per your personal desires. No body can stop you to write what you want and neither to Toshi fans as well. I can’t see any comments where any body used false language that you have used for Toshi. It might speak of your self. My personal friendly suggestion is to please calm down and be jovial. Critics are everywhere.
I hope you understand my point and be more moderate.
Cheers!

Hi Purva,
I think our(Toshi’s fans) comments makes u very angry because we speak of truth.. . . SACH KADWA HOTA HAI and u cannot digest the truth, girls like dreams more and this is just a dream for u saying Harshit is better singer. I have proved already in my earlier post that Toshi can sing all kind of songs and still u r saying ask Toshi to sing this and sing that, he can also sing better than the original song and this has been agreed by everybody. Just keep ur cool otherwise u will get ZOOR KA JHATKA DHIRE SE.
You have mentioned wow…wow..wow about Harshit supporters, they are just barking for Harshit like wow…wow..wow
I know ur not a supporter of Toshi and and like his sa re ga ma pa, now just see the difference U agree that Toshi sa re ga ma pa is very good, now this is clear Toshi sa re ga ma pa better than others. And other singers in VOI if they cannot sing sa re ga ma pa then they are not good singers.
There is a saying “Jab tum doosre ka bhala nahi chahoge to tumhara bhi bhala nahi hoga”. Same thig will happen with Abhilasha and Harshit, They don’t want Toshi and Priyani to come back and get one more chance. If u remember Abhilasha and Harshit got many chances on stage and there is a hate in their hearts for other wildcard entry people. So, the saying is correct Abhilasha is out and it will be Harshit’s turn next.
..it’s fun talking to you…
Plz don’t mind…

Hello Everybody
Sadiq you are right in saying that ‘SACH KADWA HOTA HAI’ this is proved by such derogartory comments about Toshi by purva and jatin. Look how much bitter mouthed they are after Toshi comeback.
purva & jatin this is for sure TOSHI is the best among all VOI participants and thats why All Other Participant’s Lovers crying howls & fowls.
Have you seen one thing common among AOPL, that is the hatred factor among them is Toshi, this also proves that Toshi is the best.
Harshit, Ishmit or Abhaas are good singers but to say that they are better than Toshi is non-knowledge of Music.
do anybody know why is half of sat shooting is postponed, is thers something fishy in it.

Dear Saadiq & and Genuine music lovers, I have read a blog from somebody with a cheap mentality, he used such a slang language towards me and aks me to come to India to learn english, I WOULD LIKE TO TELL HIM, THAT I AM SUCCESSFULLY LIVING IN FIRST WORLD COUNTRY SINCE 17 YEARS, AND TO GET IN HERE YOU HAVE TO QUALIFY IELTS ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEST, HEY YOU SLUM DWELLERS AND —SHIT LOVERS, YOU HAVE SHOWN YOUR AUKAT, YOU DON`T DESERVE A PLACE IN MODERN INDIA, I am not supporting Toshi nor anybody else, I am just talking facts, and the fact is Toshi, Abhas, Irfan are the best among all, they sing with their own voice, they do not mimmicks, they never beg for votes by bringing any poor family member, but their talent speaks, these are the people who are spreading communal hatred in modern india, even thou I am from a different religion but I am supporting the facts. Toshi`s fans never used any harsh words, but panwala singer fans showed their class and of course their choice is identical to what they speak,
Good luck guys,
