stop calling ishmeet voice of india he is not even shaan confirmed it today he is not by saying punjab is supporting you.one more thing i observed today all panel of judges are filled with commulnism.they way alka yagnik was looking at the time of elimination when harshit name was announced was shameful i feel that none of the judges showed any affection for irfan.
the only person who looks utterly dissappointed was shan atlast he has opened his mouth and appealed to india plzzzz select right VOI showing his distress over prospect of ishmeet winning this competetion.
democracy gives you right to choose but with responsibilty .i appeal to people of punjab to follow this next time.
HATS OFF TO ANDHRA PEOPLE they have shown some respect for dmocracy and voted above regional n religional grounds by voting against irfan.this is the right way to vote.

Hey Imran Andhra people did not vote aganist Irfan. The problem in Andhra or south is people could not speak hindi and hence they dont follow hindi channels. Only very few metros will watch SVoi. Hence thats the reason why all south candidates loose the competition irrespective of talent.Thats what Shann told once in one of the episodes. Its not only Andhra all the south Indian states are like that. Well to me Irfan is much more talented than anyone else in the competition.
Alka is disgusting. May be Abhijit have known the results in advance and hence his absence. Coz he cannot promise for two persons as he already committed to Toshi and Abhijit know Irfan is much more talented then others.
Irfan took the elimination in a very dignified manner. Hats of to him. Well it will be another Indian Idol. Look last year Sandeep Acharya won the crown on regional basis. Look now he is not seen anywhere and Karunya is flooded with film offers,albums, stage shows etc. Even my friend told he is hosting some TV shows as well relating to singing.
It will be same here as well. I am sure Irfan will be much more in limelight than others.
Yesterday his performamnce is mind blowing. Could anyone say that its Irfan time to leave?
Good Luck Irfan. no matter u win or loose in this ‘Bakwas Show’ there wont be any value. No music Director is offering any singing contracts. First of all our hounarable Judges itself dont have offers. what can they train the contestents.

Dear Shashi,
I think it’s time to take serious actions against a person using different Id’s (Jatin of course)who is really disturbing others by using so many bad languages in this great blog. If you search then you will find out that he is the only source trying to spoil this blog always. I thing he is a mentally sick person. Only for him other great bloggers are also using harsh languages. And I will never gonna blame them as they have no other options to do this.
For all, this is not a communal or political blog. This is a musical blog & treat it in such way. I am also requesting all of you not to answer against any comments of Jatin, Mehul, Verma etc. because they are a single person using different id’s.
And the judges are really stupids. When Irfan eliminated they were laughing because their Dadi child Harshit remains safe. What it means I think every one got it. I have to say that Irfan just slaughtered only for the stupid judges fav’s one.
By the way, who thought that Toshi is also Judges fav one they are absolutely wrong. Even couple of episodes ago judges used bad comments against Toshi despite his good performances. Even after each & every great performances of Toshi Judges showed their appreciations (Only to show public) comparatively little than the average performances of Dadi cry baby Harhit. I don’t know why the judges & Gajj Ji showed Harshit’s Dadi almost every episode when Harshit falls in danger zone which this sort of shows should never do.
And about Ishmeet, perhaps the best compliment came from one of the judges (Lalit) that, “It doesn’t matter how he sings, whatever he sings he will be survived”. And finally Shaan also confirmed that, Ishmeet got lowest votes among others from the rest of India except Punjab. Which means the weakest contestant is surviving only by his own communal votes. Hope, by the mercy of almighty , next week the weakest one will be eliminate (Of course Ishmeet) that we may watch the golden finale of SVOI. According to me the finalists are:
1. Toshi – Best of the bests
2. Abhaas – Really the wonder child
3. Harshit – Really a very good but
copy cat singer and
Dadi cry baby.

I am Nazim from Pakistan, I just wanted to say, regardless of dadi exaggeration. Harshit has been excellent performer, his voice has been appreciated by almost every guest and of course judges and even shan.
The reason I like Harshit is his understanding for mossiqi, but his brilliant voice. Toshi even with greater skill and perfection could not win my heart because voice does not not sounds extraordinary, as far as voice of india is concerned. Harshit and Abhas got this…….
One more thing, if Harshit has Dadi lable and unfortunately Toshi has been brought back from home after being eliminated….

why gajji shows harshit dadi clip when jatin mentioned his dadi this is realy bad… not fair with ishmeet n abhas even toshi played same game by mentioning his sick bua.we have to discourage sympathy votes not to boost them more.if harshit so dearly favorite of judges then make him voi dont waste viewers time n money

i would like to tell u one thing.people in hyderabad and bangalore can very well understand hindi and can speek very well too .people mistake if it is south, it is chennai. it is not like that. many plases in andhra and karnataka people can manage in hindi and music has no language barrior.lots of hindi movies run to packed houses.in karnataka and andhra.i will not agree with ur comment on this.only kerala and tamil nadu has this problem.the reason why the votes are not going is due to the fact that that the people r not serious about voting though they support.if that is true,then why abhas and thoshiand harshit were getting into chakravat regulatly and two of them were eliminated also.in fact irfan has survived so far it self is a huge victory.i hope the readers will agree with me.

one simple question: how does this regional voting come into the equation? doesn’t it stagger the voting construct if a smaller state (i.e., fewer number of possibe voters) is pitched against a larger state (i.e, larger number of voters)? in addition, andhra pradesh or any of the other southern states do not give mainstream hindi programmes the same high trps the rest of india does… which is not to say that they do not speak or follow hindi at all.
so either it’s a gross oversight, or a deliberate move to keep the winner from a mainstream hindi-speaking state.

I am a srgmp groupie who recently started watching ASVOI and through this blog saw some of the past episodes…
Thank you $hashi for the video fest here as well as the other site
I saw this episode and was utterly disgusted with the judges treatment of Ishmeet. I think they have no right to make comments like that!! After all singing and music is not their father’s property !!
Ishmeet is winning in this competition as per rules laid down by Gajji. Fair and square. He is not bringing his dadi into the equation or begging for votes or doing anything else..he just sings with his melodious voice. If he was so bad according to judges why was he selected into VOI by judges themselves and supported till the final 12 0r 10 ???!!!
I would love it if Ishmeet tells them –
“look brother’s and sister, I came here to sing and leave the rest to god and the people. If I am winning and you are having so much problems with it pls. leave this show and go find work somewhere else.
Why should I feel ashamed or leave just because you are unhappy?
After all music is individual and subjective..people like me, end of story”.
Also Jatin, looks like you have a hostile crowd here against you..from other posters!!

As i had told in my earlier post also i am forced to believe tat Ishmeet is ticking on VOI only due to public sympathy and not due to singing talent the producers are using this sympathy to make money they have known n understood well tat more they insult Ishmeet the more the public will vote for him and they get money out of it. Though retaining him for this is wrong but this is wat is happening. For the comment tat ppl from south dont follow such channels and shows i’d like to say i am from chennai and have been following this show from day and have been voting i jus stopped voting sometime back as i understood its no use who u vote for as the votes are rigged and the elimination is pre-planned and executed so didnt want to waste my time voting for ppl who say Irfan was not getting proper votes i’d like to remind them tat he got the highest votes two times in the show and it was something commendable.Another person who held this record was sumitra. Irfan never flawed in his singing and never begged for votes for any sentimental reasons tats y i liked him unfortunately for him he couldnt become judges fav or become a target of judges so he was eliminated i dont think n feel there is any competition left in VOI anymore as according to me all good singers have been eliminated and Irfan was the last of the best.I have nothing against any1 or any community its jus tat the show has lost its flavor and good talents sacrified i wish all the eliminated contestants good luck for their future.

watching irfan go ……….was really very very hard to take … the only reason i even started watching reality show was irfan … and SVOI is the only show that i fallowed ..am also proud of IRFAN .. is true VOI, never tried to put forth anything other than singing to ask for vote ..he consistently gave “GODLY” performances from pure and truthful music loving heart .. never mind my friend .. i wish you become a real star in the industry…. this episode’s performance was par par ahead of all the singers ..and surely better than the original … your voice rocks ..i only wish that IRFAN singing duet with the talented sherya ghosal in future and we get lagree number of hits from irfan .. u my true SVOI . Rightly said by shekar suman the song he sang “tarap tarap” became his tale in this last episode ..

I lived in Andhra for few years when I am young. Except people of Hyderabad none speaks hindi. That hindi also coz of Nijam influence.
I went last year still its the same . People dont give much importance to Hindi channels. Instead they prefer to watch regional talent shows no matter whether he/she understands or speaks ‘Hyderabadi’ hindi or not

u can’t help it .. ppl always tend to vote this way in reality shows .. be it Indian idol or sa re ga ma pa .. only way to stop such thing is stop multiple voting from same number for same contestant… if the format is public voting we must respect it .. yes .. is really hard get unbiased judgment form cmn ppl raising above these unnecessary boundaries is really what we need I think those who post here music lovers and vote in unbiased way but its really hard to control the common junta ‘s vote .. they need to raise above these things .. this small blog reaches very few ppl ..
BUT what really made me annoyed was SVOI judges … none supported IRFAN .. when shekar suman said irfan has to go .. they felt relieved as their fav dadi boy harsit had to go then .. u judges must be ashamed of your shelfs . alka yagnik ohh ho .. “judges used their veto power only once in extra ordinary circumstances ” .. its was wrong the whole wild card part .. the last two performances of thosi before his elimination was weak and guest judges said he does it lil extra esp SONU NIGAM ans SHUNIDHI CHAUHAN .. and then the sympathy started bar singing.. he must not be eliminated so on … and now thosi walks with a attitude like he is the best .. it irritates me a lot and thosi u must be ashamed of yourself too… gajendra ji .. u really screwed the show .. but you have lost the your respect

I have a hostile crowd against me because blog moderator Mr Shashi is also against me.
However brother after seeing each episode i become very depressed seeing the treatment done to Ishmeet.
Though i have no relation with Ishmeet, but still I feel as if my younger brother is suffering.
I hope he emerges soon as a winner and his ordeal in this show ends soon.
Toshi has a Bhua in ICU, Harshit has blind dadi, but Ishmeet has only sweet voice for which he asks votes for.
Brother please do vote for Ishmeet today.

I am not mentally sick like you. So many times you stated so many bad comments against other contestants, especially against Toshi. Previously, Bar singer, Stree singer, Railway singer etc. etc. and now Dargah singer. Which means you directly insulted A contestant Toshi and indirectly insulted a religion (Islam). But like you, me & other Toshi fans or Irfan fans will never gonna do that. Because we always respect other religions also.
I always said that, this blog is only for musical discussions not communal & political. But unfortunate to say that it’s happening here.

I always said that despite a good singer he is just the weakest contestant in SVOI. What’s wrong with that. Why don’t you wake up in the real world leaving the emotional world. Music is for everyone as also the singers. So vote for the right persons. Even why don’t you accept the truth that he should be eliminated at the beginning of this show when he was sick and failed to perform two shows in a row.

ishmeet is best..ishmeet rocks..he is a survivor against all odds..ppl are scared that he will win this competetion..the type of comments coming from judges and others in this show are disturbing…this show is liable for big time defamation suit…never seen such thing in other shows even with weakest of weakest contestant..indian idol has history of weakest singer winning it..no judges complained there..its format..nobody said that sandeep acahrya is getting votes from rajasthan or prashanth from nepalis..so why this fuss here??why r u ppl so jealous..all of u..nobody has any right to say that he is surviving because of votes from this region or that relegion…i wonder from where toshi is getting votes? he is best singer in show but 95% of his votes are from muslims..same is case with harshit..he is getting from u.p only..if u folks have problem ishmeet winning this show, then as somebody pointed out, block this show in every corner of india where punjabis live..block all sms which u think has come from a punjabi in north india..anyways dont worry, ishmeet is not going to win this competetion..most probably he will be out next week or following week..

I think you should follow my writings at first then state your comments with warnings!!!!!!!!!! At first your leader Mr. Jatin insulted other blogger’s fav’s with so many harsh languages, such as Bar singer, Street singer, Railway singer etc. etc. and Dargah singer. Even he indirectly insulted a religion. Did we or I ever did that. No, because we are not mentally sick. We always try to respect other religions as well as ours. Even your Mr. Jatin already mentioned at 22nd October’s blog that he supports Ishmeet only for communal reasons. Just go & search it out. The only thing I always tried to say, Music doesn’t have any bare. Music is for everyone as singers also. If Ishmeet is the weakest contestant among the others where is wrong in that! Can’t you guys just accept the truth! Just look peoples like Kets also supporting me. But I personally believe one day the sunshines will fall upon you & dark clouds will be removed.

I come from chennai and would like to correct your misconception that the people of my city dont watch hindi channels or understand hindi.
While i agree that the older generation still prefers regional channels and programmes, my generation and a large part of today’s school and college kids in chennai are definitely more into bollywood films and music and can certainly understand Hindi

Specially, Mr. JATIN is constantly spreading communalism. Also read his foul language used in his 26th October date. You will agree with me.

This is my second post in this blog but now, this is probably my last post because NOW, this blog is USELESS due to foul language that JATIN has used.

I agree with Jatin. If you have an opinion voice it do not attack others .
Who said Priyani was better than Ishmeet or Sumitra or whatever. I think all of them made cardinal mistakes. Arshpreet was good and much better than Abhilasha or Priyani or Sumitra ..I would say Arshpreet was better than Abhas and Irfan too. Purely from a singing talent perspective.
Did you raise a hue and cry at that time ? Did you shout and scream that Arshpreet should stay? Did the judges say anything ?
So much for your knowledge on music…Abhilasha was like Mauli Dace a one song wonder…she forgot her lyrics, sang in falsetto, lost her sur..Priyani suffers from lack of range and her higher notes become nasal and whiny..Sumitra, was she a singer? She made so many mistakes it was unbelievable…
Anyways you are entitled to your opinion and others are entitled to theirs..So go vote for whoever you like and talk about them if you have to. Let other’s do that too..if one says Ishmeet is good and you disagree either ignore them or point out major mistakes etc…and be on your way.
Jatin, you go ahead do. My vote for Ishmeet too..I do not see that big a difference between the four. Considering the fact that toshi, harshit and Abhaas come from a background where they have had support and training at the family level and have been at this profession all their lives unlike Ishmeet who has been a good boy and studied hard and has been a scholar and who has just recently started singing…Ishmeet has come up so far in so short a time..Hats of to Ishmeet. A lot of hot air here and there. If you guys think that you are a better judge, than why are you not on the set of VOI.
Common guys, be cool and level headed, this is a reality show and who ever can win the hearts of the viewers will eventually become a winner.
You need not say unpleasant things about Ishmeet, I reckon he is the best and the most versatile singer as he sings from the heart and seeks no rewards other wise he would have gone to an old folks home for the blind and destitute and hired all the Dadis and Bhuas and brought them to VOI set and asked for sympathy votes.
Maybe I will send my dogs over to VOI to howl for votes for Toshi , Ahbas and Harshit… exercise respect and get the same in return.
May the best human being with soulful voice win the hearts of the people of India and becoame VOI..
End of subject and be a good boy and stop criticizing . The girls were all good but some of them were just nervous.

Guys,
I have been posting on the other forum for a very long time. I have seen foul language in almost all the blogs.
To the good, sane and mature folks my advice would be not to leave this blog just because some people show poor taste. It would be similar to say leaving your home or office because someone uses foul language. Ignore and continue posting meaningful and humorous posts..express yourself.
To the foul language posters, hey guys, using foul language does nothing but harden the other persons opinions. If you do not like what others are saying, either show them their erroneous ways in a logical fashion or use ridicule, humour etc..Else, you are wasting your passion
About $hashi, he/she is the best blog administrator I have seen anywhere. And this is not to flatter him/her. Its just an observation based on doing this activity for a pretty long time.
Hey $hashi, some patience, I know you have also deleted my posts in the past when I have crossed the line. But, I always understood that you did this to make this blog an enjoyable experience and there was nothing personal. I used to get slightly communal too..I guess, its difficult not to be. All your comments is exactly what the show makers want. The more anger, the more successful the show. It keeps you coming, keeps you voting, keeps you watching, which all translates into more money for them. That’s the bottom line. There is no effort being made for the best singer to win, simply an effort on making the most money. That’s why they brought Toshi, Abhaas, and Priyani back. Not that Priyani was a girl, but because her presence would give the show another week’s life, increasingly important now that srgmp and indian idol are both over. Long live svoi.

hey everyone can’t u see that the judges… except abhijeet…. are going against Toshi without any reason… his own mentors… Adesh and Lalit are not praising him… and praising Harshit… he is a copycat….
To me Toshi is still no:1, and in todays performance he sang both the songs superbly… without any flaw…
Surprisingly, Ishmeet sang really well, especially the second song, Mashallah, this is the first time he has sung a good song.

I think Saturday’s (27/10/07) episode was one of the best of SVOI. According to me here is the recent ranking of mine of the contestants after the show:
4. Harshit – Very good. Keep it up.
(But one thing he said that if he wins then he will build a house and secondly will give the card to his parents. What about Dadi?).
3. Ishmeet – Very very good.
(You really impressed me after the second song. Wonderful. But still in my opinion this years SVOI is not for you. Because, despite your excellent performance you are still the weakest contestants among others).
2. Abhaas – Wonder child’s wonderful performance.
(But I think his mouth is getting bigger day by day. I think over confidently he is feeling that he will be the SVOI. Still long way to go child.
1. Toshi – Best of the bests.
(The second song really through me to a different world. I was always confused that among you & Raja [Sa Re Ga Ma Pa] who is better, but I got the answer. It’s you. But, I also have to say one thing to you, don’t be over confident and just concentrate only in your singings. Thats all.).

i do agree with yor comments.What i meant was that there was meaning in why people r not voting etc.i am not atall questining the integrety of every one either in tamil nadu or from any other state.the thing is that,in hindi speaking places,say,compared to south,singers like abhas and toshi were eliminated. what i mean is it has nothing to do with voting (with knowledge of hindi or not.)
pl tell me why they were eliminated first.now do u get what i meant. i also know present day generation people do have good knowledge of hindi.i did not want to hurt any ones feelings.pl do not mistake me.it is the very hindi speaking people who eliminated better singers before.dont u agree with me so, i do not agree that irfan was eliminated for want of voting.he is the onlt rep from south.if punjab can vote ishmeeth in,why not the entire south.it is total togetherness of people of punjab. iadmire the people of people of punjab for their unity though, ishmit is only an ordinery singer.

IRFAN was my favourite singer but now he is not there. Now it doesn’t matter who wins the title.
I have seen saturday’s episode, and I must say that ISHMEET is improving day by day. I still feels that he is weakest singer among others but I liked his singing today. He sung so well. He has best voice quality among all other singers.
Toshi and Abhaas were also showed great performances ( as usual ) but i think Toshi did not give 100% to his last song. Please Toshi bhai, concentrate on your singing (not performance) and do not leave stage during singing! I don’t like it. This may be the cause of your less concentration.
And Harshit, your second song was totally in “KUMAR SANU” voice. You should sing in your original voice. Please sing RAFI sahib’s song so we can listen your original voice.
I remember, there was a beautiful voice “ARVIND” from himachal perdesh who partially copied KISHORE KUMAR and JATIN / LALIT/ AADESH criticized him a lot (even he sung every song in SUR except his last performance which was Abhijeet’s song) and this HARSHIT is doing same thing ( copy of KUMAR SANU ).

Dear Mr.Kristo are you from North India? Then I can definitely say that you cannot stop supporting the elimination of Irfan. That’s what all regionalism is about. You simply cannot avoid it. That is built in our veins since our birth whether we are from north or south doesn’t matter.
Now I want to say a few words on the elimination of Irfan.
1.I did a mistake by starting watching SVOI. I should not have done that. and I should not have watched Irfan performing. I developed so much love for his songs. ( I watched other’s performances also) but Irfan has the versatility. He can sing the most difficult of songs with ease. whether it be Tera Jadoo chal gaya…Rind Posh Maal…,Dil se., Rabba Rabba….Alvida…etc..Every song he demonstrated originality.
2.Next about the rumor that Gajinder singh manipulated results to retain Harshit instead of Irfan
a) if yes:
Whoever is going to become “SVOI” I have put in quotations..coz it lost its glory once these kind of decisions are made..is simply a ball chosen randomly from a bag of good balls…without examining carefully….
b) if no:
Now about the no of votes from Andhra, and other southern states…Let me tell you here which states comprise southern states.those are Kerala, Tamilnadu, Andhra, Karnataka. I have been to Kerala and TamilNadu. Do u believe they don’t release Hindi movies even in their states except Trivandrum and chennai? Then do u believe they really watch Star Plus??? No…the votes from Kerala and Tamilnadu are none..to Irfan infact any participant. Coming to Andhra and Karnataka…I am from Andhra…I know lot of people speak Hindi….and lot of people watch SVOI..similarly with Blore..but here the percentage of population that votes is important than really discussing whether people know hindi or watch hindi channels. I would say when compared to UP…AP+Karnataka combined together would hv voted much lesser. Now coming to North…including maharashtra..every state has hindi speaking people….(SVOI minus Irfan) are the obvious choices for them. but still I don’t deny the fact that there are music lovers who really vote for the talent. That is why….Irfan has come this far…He got the votes of real music lovers…not the so-called regionalists….Ishmeet, Abhas I don’t know how these two came ahead of Irfan. for Ishmeet Shaan gave the answer….Punjab voted for him…but for Abhas…so immature a voice I don’t know whether MadhyaPradesh people are so passionate abuot his voice???? leaving Irfan behind…??
Now coming to Harshit….Yes he sings clearly…but he sings like an imitator…it is not only my opinion..you can see that in almost all blogs….
Coming to Toshi…I would rate him as the one who can give the tough competition to Irfan…I would not be surprised if Toshi will be SVOI..but only when Irfan is the runner up…..

The first thing I would like to tell you is that it is my observation that you are really good at heart and has no malice in you. You always try for perfection. It is only after listening to your songs that I realised the genius of AR Rahman. ( I am not exaggerating….)You can listen to AR Rahman song as many times as you can…its not at all boring. But when you listen to someone performing them beautifully u can feel the genius of ARR. I always hope the best and pray to God that you are going to be one of the greatest singers in India.

In my opinion in the yesterdays episode Harshit was the best in the first round with Amitabh Bachan song and Irfan was the best in the second round with Tadap Tadap ke. I think everybody sang well in the first round. I liked ishmeet’s jatt yamla and abhaas’s yahooo.
In the second round nobody was very good except irfan. I didn’t like Toshi’s main jahan rahoon at all. I think he was pausing too much. In the original song the singers go very high and very low notes but i didn’t find that in toshi’s singing. Musarrat in SaRrGaMa sang this song much much better. I am just voicing my opinion. Others might have their own opinion.

Please remember that Jatin, Verma, Upi,Rattan etc are all alias for Jatin.
The game Jatin is playing on this blog is that he writes a comment under his name and then uses Verma or Rattan or such other aliases to support his own view. Look some of the patterns in the posts above. There is something pathologically wrong with this guy.
anyway, the way to handle him is to ignore him and all his aliases.

After watching saturdays and fridays perfomance i felt Harshit sang very well. But I don’t understand why Abhijeet is hell bent on criticizing Harshit . If you think of it how can 4 judges and Shaan be wrong in supporting Harshit . In Irfan’s voteout you could clearly see that all of them including Shaan were relieved that harshit was not out . Think of it Guys they all can’t be wrong . Every judge that came to the show said that Harshit has play back singing kinda of voice . If people want to criticize Harshit for his Dadi sentiment then Toshi and Abhaas ( please don’t get me wrong they are very good singers too)were given a second choice .
Clearly Harshit ,Toshi and Abhaas are the top 3 . I can’t wait to hear Lataji’s commments on these three .

Thanks for posting the videos. However the Part 3 and 4 of Oct 26th broadcast are actually the repeat of 3. If you play the parts you will see that Toshi’s performance is not there . Can I request the administrator to please post the correct part…

it was so sad 2 watch irfan he deserves to be in the final im sure ishmeet will win the final the same way that horrible bathroom singer like prashant won indian idol and a copycat like aneek won saregamapa…..its ok ishmeet can be happy with 1 album cos after that he is not gonna get any offers like debojit frm saregama 2005 and sandeep acharya in II2…..ishmeet was saved bcos of punjabis….then hoe come the punjabis dint save a talented and brilliat singer like Arshpreet who is also a punjabi and a much better singer than ishmeet

After watching the last episod of Friday, I agree that Irfan did sing well, no doubt but so did Jatt Yamla Ishmeet, the celebrity judges had praise for him.
I always adored Shaan, but after his cheap crapy presumptions on poor Ishmeet, I lost my respect for him and he too is behaving like Himesh d Dumhess..
If you are reading this Shaan, let me tell you that a good emcee or co ordinator is one who is level headed and does not make presumptions or indirect belittling of any contestant.
May the best win as they are all human beings who have feelings just like you and me and deserve a chance in life to prove their mettle .
I am not from Punjab but I will give all a vote, they all are working hard to get fame, lets support them as VOI simply means…

It was so painful to watch Irfan go..the only reason to watch this program was Irfan and his honest voice.but somehow my family felt Irfan would be eliminated because the judges were biased and ofcourse not many people from South watch this program and hence less votes for him.
I dont want to comment about other contestants but Irafn was the best ……and is the best.
keep up your efforts Irfan..You will be surely recognized..

i was astonished to c the gestures and expressions of the judges soon after the elimination announcment of irfan and really it was shocking for me to c they were huging each other and laughing it really hurts me .It is fact that harshit could be a better playback singer but the judges should realize that they have been watched by everyone in the show as well as all over the world and i think what irfan would have been thinking at that time to c this favouritism.I strongly believe that they showed show their sympathy and courtesy at that time rather than showing such a stupid behaviour.I really believe that alka,udesh,jatin and lalit should be ashamed of theirselves except abhijeet.They dont deserve to be their but they should be sent to some sort of wedding where they can do these kind of stuffs atleast it would not hurt someone’s(irfan) feelings which have spent lot of time them and getting such a outrageous behaviour at the end specially at that time when he(irfan) needs some good positive attitude from these guys.But never mind irfan you are one the best and u will be remain so so keep it up and inshallah u will remain our VOH(voice of hearts).alla hafiz

Ive been reading the posts for quite somrtime…as you all know the show has lost its charm after the public voting system started…the contest lost some good to great singers like ashpreet, irfan, sumitra…they gave their best in every show of theirs and never faultered with the lines or the Sur…still they have been voted out…the current competitors except for Abhas exist coz of either being the judges favorites or regional fanatism…the show no more exists to spot the voice of India…it should be renamed to something like…vote bank of India…common some one shows his dadi to gain votes, the other gains votes coz he is a punjabi…as most of them point out…ishmeet is surely does not fit the bill to be in the top 12 forget the top 3…Harshit always apes the original singers and i still never saw him perform his own self…Abhas surely rocks…he is a wonder kid…Irfan…this guy knows what is hardwork and performance…i remember…once Adesh said irfan is bad with his classical misic base and all Irfan did was he sand Laaga Chunari mein daag along with Abhas to prove him wrong…Sumitra was surely was of the front runners for the show…well having said all that most of you know…all i would say is…let the disaster happen and the not so worthy win the show…the worthy are here to stay… irfan has begun his playback singing with the Mukesh Bhatt banner…the rest will soon follow and the so called VOI’s will remain to be the COI only with most of us forgetting them.

i think SMS to this program is simply time westing as well as money. but they are getting money through SMS/Phone and other sources (comm. Ads.) please consider this before sending any SMS to this kind of programm.

P.S: The Television industry does not swim in pools of money, they also rely on support from public, if we stop voting, not only will we be unable to watch these entertaining shows, but all this talent will not be exposed to the public. Talents like Ishmeet, Harshit, Abhaas, Toshi. If we did not have VOI, how would these guys have recognized their talents? It is very unlikely that they would’ve.
