Irfan Ali’s victory – recorded song for Bhatt’s film Jannat
Real talent never goes down..And Irfan Ali has proved this. Soon after his dismissal from Star Voice of India, on Saturday morning, Irfan received a call from Vishesh Films (Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt’s production company) asking him to sing for their upcoming Emraan Hashmi-starrer Jannat.
Irfan says, “Many people had called and messaged me saying that they were terribly upset about my disqualification. I had not recovered from that shock when my mentor Lalitji informed me about the film with the Bhatts.”
It happened when Mukesh Bhatt was watching the particular episode of Voice of India where Irfan was eliminated. He immediately instructed his office to rope in Irfan for a track in Jannat. “According to me, he was the best amongst all the contestants. I think that I must give the boy his due,” says Mukesh.
“We have sent him the lyrics and the tune. It’s a rocking song. Bhege hoth tere of Murder made Kunal Ganjawala famous, this song of Jannat will make Irfan Ali famous too,” he adds.
Meanwhile Irfan says, “I had never dreamt of getting into films so soon. I am thankful to the Bhatts for standing up for me. I’m ready to move on and take up work.”
Irfan is a qualified engineer. He fulfilled his parents dream to become an engineer, now it’s time for him to chase his own aspirations. He records the song at Krishna Studio in Goregaon today.

I’m extremely glad for Irfan as he really deserved to get this type of contract. Even though it took him long but ultimately he has got what he was looking for. I was very much rights in saying that singers like Irfan & Toshi don’t need a platform like VOI to prove their worth.
I hope Irfan get same boost like Kunaal Ganjawaala got, by singing Bheegay Hont for Vishesh films. I must appreciate Mr. Bhatt for recognizing talent independently. He praised Irfan when they were guests in VOI but signed Harshit (recommended by judges). Actually the way Irfan sang Tadap Tadap, have won hearts of many others and Mr. Bhatt was one of them.

Well!! my analysis of the trend is right. The eliminated contestant is from Wildcard this time.
But it is not Abhas.
The eliminated contestant is unfortunately Toshi.

The news of Toshi elimination is too good to be true. I cant belive it. My God. Now way is clear for harshit to become the VOI.
I think judges favourite harshit will win and innocent ishmeet will lose the race.
I could not control myself from writing to this blog after hearing Toshi’s elimination news.
I feel like celebrating Diwali today.

Though not a Toshi fan, I feel judges have cleared the way for Harshit to become the VOI.
Harshit is Jatin-Lalit & aadesh Shrivastava’s chosen one.
Ishmeet stood a good chance to win against Toshi, but against Harshit his task has become extremely difficult.
But how did this happen, for 2 weeks Toshi got highest votes and now he has been eliminated. Very strange I must say. I still cant believe it. I hope somebody is not playing a prank.

now this is what i call real talent who is so humble, humane and honest. irfan is just like a diamond who needed to be recognized and with his first song recording he has proved that he is not in obligation of any kind of titles though VOI gave him a platform that gave him reognition but not justice.

May be it’s happy Diwali for you but believe me this is really a dark day for India & it’s music industries. This is the win of corruptions & communal ism. After the last episode of Toshi’s in SVOI, the judges & director must be so much scared that if they allow Toshi into Grand Finale then he might win. Jatin, now for the first time I am wishing from deep of my heart that the weakest contestant Ishmeet should win the SVOI. Believe me that’s really my wish. Abhaas was also my choice. But now really I want to see Ishmeet should win. Because Toshi eliminated only by this bull shit judges & director . Because as long as he was out there no one was safe specially the judges Dadi cry baby Harshit once who was also my favorite. It’s sad to say that, at this 21st century still extreme communal isms exists in India. As it’s exists then I really want to see Ishmmet win this contest. But may be it’s been also written at previous that the Dadi cry baby will be SVOI.

I had no personal enemity with Toshi, I was just objecting to his return through wild-card contest. Because of him Irfan lost out. Irfan could hv given a tough fight to harshit, but now harshit’s way has been cleared by our learned judges- jatin,lalit & aadesh shrivastava.
But i am still hoping against hope that Ishmeet might win.
But how cum Toshi was top vote getter for 2 weeks and now he is elimiated. Sounds really strange.

Remeber there is always a justice. Because of Priyani, Abhilasha was eliminated. Immediately next week it was turn of Priyani, because public sympathy was with Abhilasha. Same happened, earlier also i wrote..Toshi eat Irfan, and people will not forgive him for that. Here u go Toshi eliminated.

It was an excellent experience for me related with this blog. And still now and will always be. More than Toshi’s elimination which really shocked me is how the people of great India tolerated such money making policies & communal isms from SVOI stupid judges & director. Didn’t I say that Irfan is a STAR and VOI so what if he is not Star VOI…
IRFAN WISH YOU GR8 SUCCESS…never forget to put your heart and soul in the songs like you always did in Star VOI and Sucees will kiss your feet…you were the best and most modest contestant
Mukeshji, is known for his great recognition of new and upcoming talent and I am glad he also thinks that Irfan was the best…so I guess Irfan gets his first assignment even before the StarVOI…
If Toshi got eliminated after last weeks performances it is very clear that all the best contestants are already left Star VOI…I have anyways stopped watching after Irfan’s elimination…the judges and the Star team made a mockery out of that episode…they repeatedly showed Harshit’s dadi even though Harshit wasn’t eliminated and didnt shed a tear or say a few good words for Irfan…this was the most pathetic episode of a music competition ever
I guess there is some East lobbying going on as the producers, judges, hosts are from those regions…shame…and the worst is Alka Yagnik…the way she treated Prithvi’s best contestant, Irfan when he left…she also hated Priyani till the end…

One of HArshit Fan spread this NEWS…
All my dear friends , this is breaking news , that Harshit is grandson of Peter Mukherjie ( CEO Star TV) . No wonder to save his job Gajendra Singh is unashamedly supporting him. Harshit is indirectly related to UPs chiefminister Mayawati as well. So Sonia Gandhi has asked Peter Mukherjie that if you want your job in Star then you have to make Harshit win , this way I will be able to please Mayawati and she in turn will let congress win in UP!!You see Harshit is so influential that all judges are favoring him and are genuinely favoring him , as for the rest of the contestent they are all faking every appreciation all the time. So when they have praised Toshi and Irfan and Abhilaasha and Abhaas actually they are all faking , only time they are genuine and they really mean it when they praise Harshit. You see Harshit is a VIP and Star TV is bound to help him all the time otherwise many a jobs are at stake. According to some at India VOI Forum feel that Harshit is been treated like VIP so I had to let the cat out of the bag. Guys Harshit has all the judges and STAR TV people eating out of his hands . If you all did not know this I am breaking this secret out today.

Thats said, Tushi is out. It was one the best outstanding singer come from rajistan. You can see overall india give them more votes then abbas, So thats really bad there own area peoples not help him to be success. For me Toshi was the best voice of world at the moment.

guys my post 4 weeks back was that Harshit will be VOI and unfortunately this will be true because all odds are in his favour. Finally it will be a tie between Ishmeet and Harshit. Good versatile singers like Irfan were shown the door because of silly decisions such as wild card entry of 4 useless participants. especially Abhaas who is just gaining sympathy of the judges. I have stopped watching this show for the past 6 weeks especially from the time sumitra was eliminated that was the indication of where this show is heading towards. Good to hear about Irfan and even if there is a VOI it is more important that he proves himself in the film industry because at the end that will count and Irfan has already started his score. Well the unthinkable has happened. Toshi is gone. Not that it changes ANYTHING for him career-wise, he’s here to stay. His talent is way beyond the end result of svoi but sovi will be remembered to have launched his very sucessful career. Listening to him sings sometimes I wondered -I really don’t care if he wins this – he’s too good for this – but I did care.
Based on singing talent it’d been good to see Toshi vs Aabhas( most versatile) or Harshit(in comparision to the other two he doesn’t compare in originality – but like him or hate him – he can somehow pull of any song – by “any” I mean good but mostly flat songs). I won’t even comment on Ishmeet. I think we all know where he stands and has stood in this competition. I just hope he knows it too.
This show is no more about singing anymore. It is about voting along communal lines – what can I say “this is my Inia”. I sincerely hope Ishmeet wins now so that people as a whole can see why we Indians need to grow up.

I am glad that Irfan got to fulfill his dream as a playback singer by singing for Mahesh Bhatt’s new film. All the best to him.
I wish people would not be so negative about singers that were not their favourites. There is a place for everyone in their own genre.
The only thing I don’t like about the show is the negative comments made by Lalit/Aadesh- Aagni team-against Toshi and Ishmeet. They come across as racists for what they are!
