    @ Bloggers,

Did u notice that Budha at the end of the show, how cunningly he praised copy-cat harshit over Ishmeet. He said”Harshit acha hai phir bhi hum banaras ke log aisa nahin keh sakt”. That old fox very cleverly put forward the point that harshit is better than Ishmeet. Such r the ppl of UP.

Ishmeet is the best with the sweetest voice.
Guys just compare the swagat Ishmeet got in ludhiana and harshit in UP. Ishmeet’s reception was much more grand compared to dadi-boy bhik-manga harshit.
Actually there was no comparison between the 2 receptions.

    Ishmeet paaji balle balle,
    Bhik-manga Harshit Thalle Thalle.

Did you guys watch the repeat episode where Harshit forgot his line not once not twice but three times. And guess what – those bufoons gave him 9 points. How can you justify such biased judging. And this is an edited show. Just goes to show how much our joker judges love Harshit and will leave no stone unturned to make him win.

But they don’t know the strength of the ‘janta janardhan’ We can change the ruling parties – yeh to ek reality show hai. Guys keep voting for Ishmeet. Insha Allah he will win and we all will celebrate.

The first post was not about VOI Judges but kayasthas in general. Then as per the statement in the second post of Jatin, these two posts could have not been from the same person.

Would Jatin (The real one) say something about these two different posts which are contradictory to each other (if written by the same person)?

If real Jatin owns the first post- then I am sorry, I made the wrong person a friend of mine a day before yesterday.

In case, such messages continue to remain on the blog- I am sorry to state that your good work has been defeated. If it is possible to reactivate moderation- I would be more than happy.

In the last, I would again emphasise- Please block me if I have caused any nuisance here till now.

well said abt Jatin. He is spreading communalism again by his posts despite of repeated warnings.

Who is he to say abt kayasthas in his post? what is his authority? At least as a blogger, we did not ever curse any community including sikhs n punjabis. He shamelessly calling his communal brothers Kamal & Sewa to write in this blog.

In the Varanasi videos u hv shown Harshit on the cover screen, where as in Ludhiana video u hv not shown Ishmeet in any of the cover video. You hv shown the crowd and that also not clearly.
This is clear discrimination against Ishmeet and what is the reason behind this? (Purely communal)

Regarding friendship, I have never written anything about any caste / region so far on the blog. I cannot make anyone my friend who writes all this.

Just pray for my country (Bangladesh) where a cyclone named SIDOR hit massively 3 days ago. Thousands are dead & thousands are missing. Just pray for those poor souls.

Now back to the main point about comments of last couple of days of this blog:

    Jatin,

It’s always nice to see you in this blog. But but where are you going man. Don’t you think it’s too early to go for bed! Stay here man, without you, this blog is nothing but …….What you mentioned earlier about Kalyani I am really feeling shame that once I called you my friend. Jatin can you just tell me, why someone will use your name and mentioned such dirty things always against any individuals or anything! I think, it was and is always you. I think double personality works on you. Your one side is very good and other side … believe me I can’t say how bad it is. Please man, before it’s too late you should immediately take better treatments regarding that.

    Dear Rishi,

Day by day, I am being a very big fan of yours. Keep it up man.

    Dear Alok,

I always appreciate your comments in this blog and hope to see more & more in future.

    Dear Kalyani,

You know, it’s always nice to see you in this blog. I have one request to you, despite many of odd words of worst peoples against you, never stop posting your comments here. We always love to see them.

As per SVOI’s last two episodes, I want to say only one thing:

We just witnessed the rape of Music. That’s it.

    Bhai UPPI,

Everything happens according to what God wishes, not because of what human wishes. Saying that India is there because of Sikhs is false.

Muddai laakh bura chahe kya hota hai, wohi hota hai jo manzoor-e-khuda hota hai.

Kisike maarne se koi marta nahi aur kisike bachane se koi bachta nahi, unless its the Rabb’s wish.

What Alok said was totally wrong as well. But, I have been a regular reader of this blog and no one has ever insulted Sikh community or any community for that matter except this guy called Jatin. UPPI, u were fast to comment on Alok and how come you never commented on Jatin’s comments (unless ur one of Jatin’s avatars which I strongly believe). It was obvious someone somewhere is going to snap and that’s what Alok did. We all know here the person who started these kind of communal messages belongs to which community so let’s not point fingers at each other.
I hope Jatin realizes the fact that people like his kind start all this communal hatred in India and ruin it.

Arun, there is a word in urdu: ahsaan faramosh..u r such person..so i dont want to comment on what u have written..u can talk to ur father and grand father, they may let you know the truth or u can go to google and learn some history..i can only give that much advice..i am sure u r a punjabi hindu based on what u hv written..
by the way i am not anbodys avtaars..get that straight..as far as so called jatin is concerend, doknt know who he is, he wrote that adesh shrivastava blindly supports harshit both are from same caste in U.P..is that wrong? his tryant is against adesh and lalit since he sees them discriminating against ishmeet on television..that all might be scripted or moght be truth..we dont know..but i reall all blogs of yesterday since i get time only on weekends..he didnt write anything wrong abt hindu relegion..he just said adesh is supporting harshit because of so and so..and ppl of U.P were not gracious in their support towsrds ishmmet while on other hand punjabis showed lot of graciousness and love towsrds hasrshit..now this person ALOK is making lots of bullshit comments which I replied and were deleted by moderaor..moderator deleted all objectionable comments so I have deleted some of my objectionable posts..nobody has any right to point any finger on any relegion and tell that how that relegion is born and so forth..if u dont know anthying dont write anything…now as far as jatin, sewa or mewa is concerned, i dont know who they are..i just write my comments on weekends…

Shashi, U indded need to be sorry..u need to apologise to all..i write here only on weekends..dont have time on weekdays..u shud first ask ppl like ALOK who can go to any limit and can write anything abt entire relegion as a whole…if he gives his expert commnets on birth of a relegion then somebody like sewa or mewa will retaliate..it wud be very easy for u to track the ids and disbale them without any partiality..u r not doing ur job properly…

  35. By arun on Nov 18, 2007 | Reply

    Alright UPPI,

I believe u arent Jatin. Thanks for clearing that and also ur last post made sense except some misconceptions. First, I aint a punjabi hindu. I am a keralite christian. Now, plz dont say since I am a keralite, I dont have knowledge of Hindus, Sikhs or India overall. Being an Indian, its my duty to know my country’s history and I know what qurbani, ur guru had given to save Hindu’s life from a muslim emperor at that point of time. I have utmost respect for Sikhs.
The important point is, as educated Indians, we should unite and refrain from commenting at other religions. And this is a music blog, for God’s sake. This guy called Jatin, Sewa has been commenting non-stop on every person who thinks Ishmeet is not a good singer. Now, considering some one as the VOI not based on his singing ability but based on his religion is such a bullshit. Hands down, Ishmeet may be a good singer but doesnt have the talent to be the VOI, nor does Harshit. Toshi, Abhaas, Irfan, Arshpreet r way better than Ishmeet or Harshit.

Jatin is so annoying and irritating that he is able enough to excite anyone n that’s what happened with Alok. And, u were swift to react to his comments and never wrote a single word against Jatin. Why? Either you support Jatin and r communally biased as well. Being a neutral (i.e. Chrsitian), I can say that no hindu ever commented on a Sikh in this blog so far except Alok, but Jatin has done that all along.

  36. By arun on Nov 18, 2007 | Reply

If Alok goes, jatin alias Sewa should go as well.

  37. By UPPI on Nov 18, 2007 | Reply

Arun, Based on what i read yesterday and today, i could only see Alok giving some definitions abt birth of sikh relegion on which he is completely ignorant and then sewa giving back piece of his mind and straight contest between them..bothe of them should be banned from this blog by creating communal feelings among all bloggers..since I dont write here regularly, not sure if jatin has written anything about any relegion..if he has done that then moderator can block his present id and for the matter of fact any id who is creating nuisance here..i feel jatin is ardent supporter of ishmeet based on what he sees on TV..i also became interested in this show after seeing comments from abhijeet and adesh/lalit..anybody wud that..its natural..
I would request everybody to refrain from writing any communal comments here..just write only on ishmeet and harshit..all r free to talk abt their favourites..no problem in that..
Jatin, its better u dont write anything abt anybodys caste also..ppl are going to react..if adesh is supporting harshit because of so and so..then let it be..u are also supporting ishmmet on same grounds or may be some other reaons..Arun I am writing in this blog mostly on wekends since last 2 months..this is first time I am seeing ur name..i wonder if u r duplicate of somebody :) ..or u just a reader and dont write anything..

Can u track this duplicate id business here..it wont be tough for u to find out the ip address from where duplcate ids are coming from..and then tell that to everybody here..is it possible or not? if its not possible for u then I wud say moderator of this blog is writing with duplicate ids..

  39. By arun on Nov 18, 2007 | Reply

    UPPI,

Your post was good and I totally agree about deleting some people from this blog.

But buddy, I aint no duplicate of anyone. I dont even think anyone is duplicating anyone. This is a fake terminology started by Jatin. No body here is faking id or writing comment on anyone’s behalf. Jatin, started this so that he is able to abuse someone and then come out of it saying it wasn’t him and continue posting comments.People r completely responsible for comments under their names. Only a kayar, busdil would write hidden under sumone’s id.

I dont post regularly, but, I have been an avid reader of the blog since the beginning, when I started to watch the episodes of SVOI here. I started commenting since October, when I saw Jatin starting this communalism here. That’s when I started to write. Believe me, people here have been posting nice, interesting comments. Even Jatin himself, but he has this communal touch to him for some reason which destroys all the good work.

  40. By UPPI on Nov 18, 2007 | Reply

    Arun,
I just saw Kalyani post being deleted by Kalyani. I wonder why?did she/he write anything objectionable..or you and kalyani or same since there is nobody here right now except u and me..just wondering..
OK if all of u feel that Jatin is himself faking his ids then its very easy for moderator to find out from which IPs those ids have come..is that too tough..then everything will be clear..do u think this is very tough for moderator to find out?
If somebody is writing multiple stuff with single id and then not owning them, that person has mental disorder and need to go to physchatrist.

  41. By arun on Nov 18, 2007 | Reply

I think it should be very easy for the moderator to find out using the IP address. Unless, he doesn’t want to. Yeah, its only two of us here right now and I dont think anyone else might be even reading all this. I see a comment being deleted, not sure whether its from Kalyani. But she hasn’t ever written anything objectionable.

arun, and a few others, I am not jatin and neither is jatin sewa …

Shashi , I joined this blog to enjoy the healthy competition and was not to belittle anyone as mentioned.

Everyone is entitled to his/her opinion and support for any singer. I am not Ishmeet’s brother either as we dont know each other and will probably never know…

When someone writes stupid idiotic tall tales of one’s race and religion , he/she will be aptly replied.

Every action , there is a reaction.
Alok should be kicked out from this blog as he was the one who made nonsensical statements and I responded as deem fit .

I have written before that this is a blog to share comments on VOI and the participants and people should be focussed.

I dont give a damn if I am blocked from posting but on the same note I would like to thank Shashi for posting links to view episodes that I at times have no time to watch..

Some of you write as though you are an angel,Charity begins at home, be good and be respected.

For me VOI is simply Voice of Ishmeet anything less is HARshit..This does not mean that HARshit is any less a human being and he too deserves some credit as I believe that he must also be a naik bacha ..

For these two to reach the finals and beating the odds, I am sure the Good lord is smiling upon them and I too intend to do the same.

    VOI.. Voice of Ishmeeta
    VOI.. Victory of Ishmeet
    VOI.. Very Original Voice

I think Jatin is an ISI agent wanting to create division by fanning communal feelings. He is definitely not a Sikh. Guru Nanak says: Awal Allah Nur banaya sad kudrat ke bande. Ek noor so sab jag upjaya kaun bhale kaun mande.

All he has done so far is fanning communal feelings. His gist of e-mails is that Ishmeet a Sikh was dissed by Hindu Judges because he is a Sikh. Vote for Ishmeet because he was dissed by Judges.

Ishmeet is Singh-a lion who will win on his own singing ability and not with help of weezles like Jatin. Imagine a man who has changed his name to Jatin Bond from his real name. He feels proud being a Firangi instead taking pride in his own name. How can one trust him.

    Hi Guys,
I wonder how come Gajji who had pioneered a neat, decent and dignified SaReGaMa earlier hosted by Sonu Nigam, and after gaining experience through that, is allowing unbelievably unethical stuff going on the show?
Isn’t there a difference between a mentor and a promoter. Hridayanath Mangeshkar had also asked these ‘wise’ maestros to stop bickering and instead guide the participants.
Has any of these mentors ever commented on the finer points of singing? See for example how Sonu Nigam again and Suresh Wadekar are evaluating each participant in the on-going SaReGaMaPa for the kids. They are being responsible, impartial and constructive towards the spirits of the participants, cause of the music, providing a product containing a learning experience for not so savvy music viewers besides being a TV entertainment.
The better or best of the contestants have already bid good-bye to the contest. I believe these mentors have done irreparable damage to this show. They have induced a feeling in the viewer-voters against what they wish. They could be good composers or singers themselves, but none of them is fit to sit there as a mentor or a guru.
I won’t go into discussing the format of the program regarding leaving everything in the hands of voters, but once it has been decided, then it has to be stuck to.
Mind everyone, the results of the voting is not an indication of the performance of the contestents, but the short-sightedness of the so called mentors. Why recall some of the contestants again after losing in vote count. Did any one of them reach finals?
Another feature I hate to see is the vote-appeal “Please vote for me”??? What’s all this? They are artists, not infamous creed politicians. How are they going to win public respect? They should be singing to audience as if they were singing to Ma Saraswati, and seeking her blessing to be good in the field. I appreciate Toshi for having once said that all he looked forward to is to be able to sing the notes correctly. Once these contestants have got the platform, they should not sell themselves. They should be good enough for public to buy them. They should be proud enough to give a tough fight before they quit, so that they themselves are sure that better participants have advanced in the competition. Then only the winner can assure himself/ herself to be deserving VOI title, then only will the masses get what all this exercise has been about.

  46. By mohsin on Nov 19, 2007 | Reply

    Agree with you 100%, DJ.
The judges have lost all their credibility in the eyes of audience, and are not even capable enough to mentor/judge any show.
Also, I am disgusted by the fact that the so-called Live performances were all staged. They were just lip-sync’ing with recorded songs. A disgusting show!

This is totally stupid to name Harshit as a copy-cat singer and that is why we should not support him. What is wrong to be like Kishore Kumar or Shanu? Even Sonu Nigam was copying Md Rafi during his struggle for being established in industry? Shanu copied Kishore Kumar, Abhijeet copied Kishore Kumar. Later they became famous in their own way. Don’t be just biased just because he sounds like other singers. You should hear his voice and his music quality. Don’t be unfair.

I am not a fan of harshit or Ishmeet. But it really irritated me by reading the blog when few guys always told Harshit is a copy-cat. This is stupid.

  48. By Siddhartha on Nov 19, 2007 | Reply

Frankly speaking neither Harshit nor Ishmeet deserved to be in the final. This program sucks.

If Harshit is not a good choice, Ishmeet also is not a very good singer. They are equal and average singers.

It really does not matter which Jatin has written it,but the blog entry of 16th November, is anti national and needs to be removed (before somebody gets Google to run an IP trace on that entry and both you and all Jatins get into some serious trouble)and Jatin you don’t have to keep posting that same message again and again.
I for one refuse to believe that there are 2 Jatins on the blog, though it may well be the case of our Jatin having multiple personalities.
I also think that everybody on this blog should just ignore Jatin’s post and continue chatting.

    Cheers!

    Guys,

The below wriiten message is not mine. This is the work of some unscruplous element and shashi is not deleting this anti-national message.

“Please vote for Ishmeet, he is the most innocent participant of all reality show and is suffering because he belongs to innocent sikh community.

    Jay Khalastan di.!”

As a true Indian i can never write such offensive message.

    Regards

    Real Jatin (True Indian)

    Hi All,

I have throughout been in support of Harshit for the quality of his voice when compared to Ishmeet.

At this stage however, i feel, that the treatment being meted out to poor Ishmeet is really unhealthy.

I agree that he chooses simple songs, but sorry judges(agni), being honest is one thing and being sarcastic is another. Why do we forget at the end of the day that we are all humans. It takes guts to stand on that stage and smile even when such sarcastic comments are being passed episode after episode.

After the banaras wala episode, i really feel that bhojpuri guy and pandit Kishen whatever, have tried to mould the votes in favour of Harshit. I am sorry to say that these people have only tried to show that they were neutral, but they have not been neutral in the true sense of it.

I feel all the more bad when i compare the kind of treatment given to Harshit when he was in ludhiana and the kind of treatment extended to Ishmeet when he was in banaras. Come on all you people on the show, grow up, viewers aren’t fools.

And also Harshit’s vote stunts could have been avoided…he has a good voice quality, and he could have been more confident of it, istead of begging for votes for all the wrong reasons. No Harshit U SHOULDN’T HAVE DONE IT.

Yet i will be neutral and vote for harshit, coz i feel this show is to serach and reward the most deserving talent, and i feel Harshit is more deserving than Ishmeet when it comes to singing.

Not to mention, Toshi and Abhaas were great singers too.

    Guys,

this is my last message here and I would like to wish you all an advance Prosperous New Year 2008.

No unpleasant feelings but please do not write on some one’s religion and beliefs if you are naturally born ignorant like alok.

Kalyani, no ill feelings, life is a challenge and non perfect.

With Guru Ji’s grace, Ishmeet will triumph . Kajal if you have been following the contest you would have noticed that Ishmeet had been flawless as compared to Harshit who has on many occasions missed and fumbled on his lyrics.

Truth matters and VOI is none other than Ishmeet, as he is the only one standing without roping in destitutes and begging people to help him repay his father’s debts.

The real winner is GAjj, he has made millions thru VOI and poor veer jatin has been made poorer but a noble cause to see Ishmeet thru this turbulent weather..

Since these two had beaten the odds to be here, I want to remain neutral and give my vote to Ishmeet anything less is not neutral

    VOI… Voice of Ishmeet
    Victory of India
