Ishmeet Singh, who was crowned Star Voice of India, released his first Gurbani album today at Dukh Niwaran Saheb Gurdwara in the city of Ludhiana.
Ishmeet said he felt good that his first album on Gurbani was being released on Guru Gobind Singh’s birth anniversary. Notably, the lad was crowned “Voice of India” at the grand finale on November 24, 2007, which also happened to be the 538th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev.
Titled “Satguru Tumre Kaaj Saware” and launched by BIG Music and Home Entertainment, the album features six shabads that include Satguru tumhare kaaj saware, Mitar pyare nu, Ram japo ji and Ek noor. The organisers said Ishmeet will also perform at the 1,000 days countdown opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games on January 6, 2008 to be held in New Delhi.
Big Music and Home Entertainment CEO Kulmeet Makkar said: “A pop and dance album with Ishmeet is in the offing. We have signed top 10 artistes of Voice Of India. It is important to understand the growth area of an artist. At the same time we have to keep market demand in mind. This is the first recorded soundtrack album by Ishmeet. And a lot of hard work has gone behind it.”
Ishmeet will also go on a world tour beginning February 2008.
i think this time the elimintaed cintestant is abeer or prakiriti giri.
bcs in terms of age, abeer is the most younger and in terms of performances prakiti has the weekest performance last week so.

Cause she got a cheesy song compared to other participants. Just imagine how you would feel if you were presenting a song like that in front of musical maestro, gazal king, Ghulam Ali Sahab.
She should definitely not go before Abeer or Vyom. Vyom most of the time looks like he does not even want to be there. Even Vyom got a cheesy song but it helped him cause beore that everyone kept saying he was showing no expressione etc etc. Yet as always the judges come to his rescue and keeping on praising him. Even Gitashree & Mansi chote bhalo deserved to be there more than him for their talent and ofcourse for their all out effort.
Abeer is not that great there should be a separate competition for kids his age you know around 8 and under ten then maybe he can shine. But right now besides the judges finding him “cute” most of his songs sounds like school recitations.
Anvesha or Aishwaria will win. Or maybe Jayant if there are lots of sympathy votes (not saying thate he is not talented he def is but not as much as what Anvesha has demontrated so far).

You know wasn’t it strange when everyone was singing fun and light type of songs in that party episode they gave Jayant a gazal. Sure made him stand out right. And it went with what the producers etc wanted cause at that time they wanted to highlight his plight & get guest/judges and audiences (including me) crying their eyes out.

You can see the news about Alka Yagnik (floored by Chote Ustads) being in Chote Ustad on coming Sat episode, and in the photo there is no Abeer or Anwesha. Article mentions Anwesha singing, so it has to be Abeer. He was getting put of context anyway. I would have had him out before Mansi but I did miss seeing more of Gitashree, I think she was the only unfair elimination so far.
Anwesha, Ashwarya, Jayant, Areeb (if his father would give him a break and let him rest, poor guy)
in that order for me. Anwesha, for her sheer verstality and control…she has sung low and high, modern and classical (and difficult ones at that), old and new, and never lost a note or missed a beat or over or under did anything so far!
