This show has been a classic example of biased voting by public. Prakriti has been consistently ranked in bottom by judges but always ranked in top 2-3 by public. I think vyom has still a long way to go.
However, between Vyom and prakriti it was very obvious that vyom was the deserving candidate for top 3. Prakriti has her own strenghts but she has been singing very monotonous songs and last episode she forgot the song as well. For last few episodes her performances have been very average. On the other side, vyom made significant improvements in last few episodes. Even after that prakriti is in top 2-3 in public voting!!! Isnt it an obvious biased voting?
Aabhas has been continuously asking people of bengal to support anwesha…people of gujarat to support aishwarya…people of maharashtra to support rigved etc etc…isnt this a nonsense? isnt this irritating? Get matured and come to your senses aabhas…this is a talent show and not some regional strength demonstration exercise, which region can send maximum sms etc…let the best talent wins the show..!!
you are talking about the biasness of voting people but you are not talking about the biasness of judges as you must know even if prakriti is singing well they are not giving good rank and they are ranking lowest.
Don’t forget that people are the SUPREME and not JUDGES. Judges can comment and give chance to sing a song but they can not make STAR as u should know PEOPLE make the STAR. so, what’s wrong if people like PRAKRITI and vote. AND U SHOULD REALISE THAT her voice is EXTREMELY MELODEOUS. no one can argue about it. May be other people know better classical music but the main this is VOICE should be MELODIC so that people like it.
U think public are the supreme but not the judges.
How can u say that man,we can see in this show from the first episode of chote ustad Anwesha is the consistent performer rather than praakrithi but when it comes to voting she always stays in the bottom ranks .But because of consideration of the judges she is still there, if she has been eliminated due to voting this would be really injustice.Before voting people should consider the judges comments also and vote.People should not vote depending on the regional feeling………………..

Anvesha is a fine singer. She has a very good classical background and deserves to win. yesterdays episode has shown the amount of biasness on prt of voters for Prakriti, who is not at all fit to be part of top 3. Vyom should not have been eliminated. Even judges have not been keeping her in the top. And they have been consistently saying that Vyom has improved tremendously, which I also agree, although sometimes he does not sing to tune. But Prakriti also did not sing to tune, this week and she was given Sartaj Sarvottam. I do not know how?
The show goes on anyways. I think, this public voting should be removed because it does not choose the right person to be at the top.

Most probably you have forgotton that in singing the most important factor is the MELODIC VOICE not classical knowledge even if there are hundred of music directors who are the master of music but u should know that all of them do not have MELODIC VOICE so they can’t be Singing STAR and become music director.
and Gagendra Sing also challending to the people he should also CORRECT his MISTAKE by not GIVING 50% POWER TO THE JUDGES otherwise his show will go down and no public will participate in this sytem then just give the whole power to the JUDGEs they will choose whoever they like BUT PEOPLE WILL NOT AGREE AND WILL NOT PARTICIPATE.
i think the whole show’s name should be ’star voice of India?’.i think the show has become representative of the voice of the judges,the judges comprise of two people (counting shreya and kunal as one).shreya and kunal want to brainwash public by telling us to pick either of aishwarya or anwesha in a very school teacher manner.i think shreya and kunal should be very neutral and proffessional and not forget their humble beginnings by trying to discourage and humiliate likes of prakriti who are half of their ages.

you’re fabulous!YOU HAVE A FANTASTIC VOICE! Just use your own voice and Don’t try to sound like Shreya. You have a fantastic voice and we heard it when you sang hum dil de chuke sanam, maayiaa mayiaa,morni baga ma,maussam ki adlii badli me and this new one.
Anwesha and Aishwariya are excellent singers. While Anwesha has better classical background (and hence she sings absolutely perfect), Aishwariya has a real charming voice. I would be very happy if somehow they are declared joint winners but that’s not gonna happen and so I wish Anwesha becomes THE CHHOTE USTAAD!

In my opinion this is was an aweful episode. I personally did not like any of the renditions. The songs were all “garbage” numbers. Also I think Abhas does not have the ‘thing’ that I guess I expect in an anchor, the poise, some maturity etc.. “Bollywood ke superstar jinke charno ke dhul…”.. what ??? What age are we living in ? Bollywood superstar and his charno ke dhul… man it was one heck of a cheap statement.. Sabzi bazaar ke sabzi bechne waale bhi aisa nahi bolte honge .. shit…Come’on you are on television man… By the way does anyone know if Abhas has completed his education or he is in the gambling process to get a his feet into the Bollywood waters.. ahh.. i had said many times that but they kept fighting me in most abusive language ,so i stopped my views.this was my 1st experience so i couldn’t compare what used to happend > actually ,i never knew that such Musical competition exist in india ,so a friend told me last year and i saw one episode of saregamapa online.now i see this chotte ustaad specially for some kids who are very enthusiastic here in USA.This in my mind is all drama and not at all to the standard that i could expect.

In fact i don’t have any personal attachment to any contestants. But u know Prakriti’s melodic voice attracts people to vote her. They can’t stop voting her. This is the truth. Just remember about Monali Thakur from Bengal she was not the winner in Indian Idol 2 but today she is doing better then the winner. Like many contestants in Indian Idol 2, Monali Thakur comes from a musical family. Monali’s father Shakti Thakur is a professional singer and actor in Bengali film industry, and her sister Mehuli Thakur-Goswami is also a playback singer in Bengal. Monali also sung for preity zinta for flim jana-e-man and recently sang for the film Race and many others to come. It is very important that you should be educated in music. One can sing only if he or she is God gifted , so to me all the participants has God gifted voice and that is why they are there in this show otherwise people like me would have been there. But this is a competition so naturally the best singers should be ranked on the top and to acquire that position you need some education in music.

Anvesha deserves to win. She does not get as many votes as aishwarya, which is sad. But i am sure she will do well for herself as a playback singer.
As for prakriti, she is a sweet girl and lets not post stuff like she is deserving or not. Prakrit is not much behind vyom-that’s what I feel. she has a melodious voice but not trained. same goes for Vyom.
Anyway, sonia or geetashri should have been in 3′rd place. i do not mind prakrit being there. life is not always fair so god bless her and don’t be demoralised dear.

With complete partiality from the judges Anwesha is one “BECHAARI” singer who went in to scarry land because people of India rejected her voice but because judges kept praising her for no reason, just to satisfy their ego, she was allowed to continue with the show. She has done poor practice and all her Taans are Besoora. Today, judges are exposed that without their negative support, Anwesha would be no where in the show. Bill Gates have very rightly said, life does not give second chance like school does. Anwesha is still in Kinder garten. She needs so much of support to even reach the finals. Winners are only those who are accepted by people not thse who are needed to be supported to stand by bunch of few deaf idiots like you.

There is a diference between singer and a good singer,Anu was getting songs which were not popular and she performed briliantly and has done justice,this week Ash gets a song Mera Piya Ghar which is a popular one and u say it is not the correct song because Aish was not up to the mark(as per my opinion).
Know according to me Anu is far better then Aish because she gives a different flavour to any song which is given to her.

I just finished watching today’s (march 15) episode. whats is gajendra singh doing???? if they clearly want anvesha and aishwarya to be in the finals why they are doing this drama of eliminations??? in the start of episode kunal ganjawala comes and says to public we have made very clear whom we want in the finals so public please do it!!!!! what the heck is going on? then why make these girls sing???
although anvesha is my favorite but clearly her performance of “deedar de” today was not up to the mark. and she got 3 sartaj sarvottams!!! prakriti did justice to the song gela gela and she got madhyam and uttam by shreya and kunal!!! i agree its an easy song but her perfpormance was very good!!! this is the most biased judging i have ever seen!!! ofourse judges are made to do this partly by gajendra singh to creat more controversy.
gajendra singh you have ompletly lost it!!!! if it wasn’t for the great singer anvesha and partly aishwarya in your show this show would be a completely flop show!!! all gajendra singh is good at is reating un-necessary drama!!!!

The show definitely chose the songs for everyone. DUHHHH!!! HELLO!!!!

My heart just felt so bad for poor Prakrithi. No matter how hard she has tried, these folks have nothing but trying to put her down! But, she is a FIGHTER and an ANGEL! God bless you kiddo!
My guess for the finals would be that – it would be between Aishwarya and Prakrithi and he will make sure Aishwarya will WIN! Afterall, she deserved to win last year due to bad health and other parents objecting her return back to the competition! She just lost 1 year of limelight and Gajjman, is trying to make it up!
Anwesha, no matter, what happens from this, for me atleast, you were the most dignified (only pain was seeing you ask for just Bangla votes) and most deserving to win the title! Guys, bagging high TRP ratings is fine, having somebody shouted at and getting him/her humiliated in public is something else.Sadly, this is what happened today. The judges had a single point agenda today -”get Prakriti out of this show”. This is a reality show and somebody has to be eliminated. But, I am sorry this is not the way.

Public voting is a joke. Good way for Star TV & judges to make money.Who knows, who is voting, how many votes have come in , from where & for which contestants etc etc.
If only judges decide these show then public can see & disagree.
In Saregamapa Little Champs show too Zee TV & judges selected top 3 & blamed public voting for eliminating good singers.

I don’t see Prakriti in the final after today’s episode. Anwesha and Aishwaraya are the most likely finalists. Prakriti has 3 madhyams today and I do not see her making this up through publlic voting.
Yeah I wish they would have just eliminated two contestants today instead of all the drama.
Felt so bad for Prakriti today she was just dragged on just to get mean remarks from Judges to show clearly who needs to be out next.
Don’t feel bad. They did that to many other contestants also before they got eliminated. Areeb ko literaly gali diya tha. And they were pretty mean to Gitashree t before she got eliminated.
They are just playing with people’s feelings. So just don’t take it to heart. Keep living, loving and smiling bravely.

Arindam, what happened if you see Prakriti in the final? She has right to appear in the final isn’t it? You don’t like her becoming a winner but other people would like to see her winning and you can’t stop them do you? And how they feel if they see & read your comments?
Therefore I would like to request to every body more positive & encourage comments rather than demoralize.
I congratulate them all b-coz they are God gifted kids & there is no doubt they all are property of the nation. I would like to advise you all commentators don’t be ambitious too much late them win by the one lucky singer & they all are potential singers.
The star plus has provided very good opportunity to find their position & gained knowledge including dividable confident which would be very good platform to be come a good playback singer in the future.
I think they don’t have to sing now b-coz there are two reasons 1st they are not matured and not ready yet, 2nd they need to study & there are so many senior playback singers in the country for filming industry
Ironman, do not get me wrong.I have nothing against Prakriti.That was my feeling and anybody has the right to disagree.
Look at my earlier post. What I merely meant to say was that judges by their mean comments, low scores have made things really tough for her.
