Just finished watching MAR 22d episode. I thought Anwesha was fantastic in both songs – to “Kambakth Ishk’ she added a lot of variations to make it more interesting and ‘Dola re dola’ was simply SUPERB in my opinion. Aishwarya’s rendition of ‘Aye re aye re’from Rageela was good although nowhere near the original by Asha specially the lower notes. She sang ‘Bairi piya’ from Devdas soulfully but went off sur at least three times.

Drama baazi to the extreme by Aishwary’s family in the Mar 22nd episode. Aish calls his dad on the phone and informs him that she is in top 2 and he acts like he is hearing this for the first time. WHAT!!! That means he did not know the results for 24 hours!! We are not stupid people o.k.? Anwesha on the otherhand called her Dad and talked about Jaipur’s 2nd day performances.The whole family is corrupt and into unnecessary DRAMAA BAAZI!

Completely agree with your Ronnie… the drama baazi by Aishwaryas family is unnecessary and disgusting to say the least.

I was not impressed by any of Aishwaryas performances. Though she sounded soulful with a very good rounded voice she lacks the finesse and control over her voice which Anwesha has in abundance.

As far as Anwesha is concerned i think she got carried away in the ‘Kambhakt ishq’ where Urmila was dancing along side… also the song is very very difficult…. as it is Asha Bhosale song. I thought that she would have done much better had she not got carried away with the dancing and the crowd jumping up and down. But she pulled her socks in the second song “Dola re Dola” and how well……..She was awesome……..!!!!!

But if there were any critics for Anwesha, they should go into hiding now coz she has answered them by an absolutely awesome performance.
The rendition of “Dola re Dola” was out of this world. There were no mistakes and the variation in the song was amazing.

I cant describe my pleasure in seeing the thumbs up from Kunal ganjawala where he seems to be saying ‘yes’ this is what we expect from anwesha and this will tell what the difference between Anwesha and Aishwarya is. Though Aishwarya deserves to be no. 2 in this show…… it is Anwesha who already is no. 1.

I am sure this episode showed why Anwesha is better than Aishwarya ….. as Urmila pointed out……the emotion and exuberance of song is well depicted by Anwesha.

A good episode all in all…..
Urmila exudes a lot of exhuberance in every show she appears which was infectious.
Aishwaryas singing was great at places but not satisfactory at certain places.
Anweshas performance was definitely better than aishwaryas. Her drawback is her voice similarity with shreya so no matter however well she sings ppl are gonna compare her with shreya. But her variations were superb.
Shreyas medley was simply mesmerizing.Out of the world.
Glad that Kunal didnt get much chance to say anything…
Preetham was tolerable.
I loved jaipur and the maharanis quiet grace.
Yaar when will they sing old numbers?????will they ever??

well said praveen…..coz shreyas performance on bairi piya showed what Aishwarya lacked. Also you could see that Kunal was very reluctant in giving sartaj sarvottam to Aishwarya after “aiye re aiye re”.

As usual, our little princess rocked. AISHWARYA was a revalation.She is not better then many who have been eliminated. She is surviving only on hype.

well… one thing shreya should understand is that any
talent shows competited automatically takes into consideration of various other factors too..or else there would have been zero fan for prakriti and 100% fan for Amisha and no competition…. and no talent shows would have become successful..and she would not have been there commenting..
so in that context there is very big part of Pragrati Giri for the show becoming popular and yes too for finding out shreya as intelligent…

well… in every talent shows we find judges commenting on how to improve over ones singing ability… but here it is found otherwise..and some remarks were were harmful physchologically….

but poor prakriti.. she was hurt and it was worst situation for her during elimination as she wanted but could not cry… well done kunal and shreya…. i just wish that prakriti had quited the show voluntarily..

really.. this talent show has highlighted many things which were not known..

To-day,we enjoyed the show very much:
sherya’s singing was memorable.
Rajasthan episode is far better than other episode.The guest filmstar,we don’t know but with due apology, she is not good looking and her voice is very rough.The only beautiful lady was the princess dyia ,she looked gorgeous and has good height.shreya looked beautiful.pritam and kunal are ugly as usual.

Aishwarya’s performance has been disappointing in both these episodes. Despite singing most of the intricacies correctly, she failed to maintain her melody during the energetic songs and her variations in tone seemed a bit forced.

Anvesha sang very well but her voice sounded slightly nasal while delivering the high notes of “Dola Re”. Still, she outshone Aishwarya in both the episodes.

It is interesting to see the Judges being so politically correct in their comments to Anvesha and Aishwarya. Probably they don’t want to be accused of partiality. Fancy that, after their remarks to Prakriti!

Shreya and Abhas were brilliant. They should be the Lata Mangeshkar and Manna Dey of the future.

Ash wasn’t at her best in this epsiode..Anwesha at the other end sung both songs beatifuly but she still has to overcome her problem with high notes….shreya was just awesome..and URMILA..what to say about this lady..she is as refreshing as she used to be..full of joy, masti, maza…she is F5 key to me..:D

3.ANWESHA AND AISHWARYA: 40% IN COMPARISON TO SHREYA’S PERFORMANCE. BOTH THE PERFORMERS SOUNDED NOVICES BEFORE THE ICON WHO HAS MASTERED THE ART OF SINGING.

PLEASE DESIST FROM COMMENTIG ON AISHWARYA’S MOTHER’S DRAMABAAZI ETC. IT APPEARS EVERYONE’S IMAGINATION HAS TAKEN TO WINGS AND THEY ARE FLYING INTO THEIR OWN WORLD OF FANTASY. YOU HAVE STARTED IMAGINING THINGS WHEN THERE MAY NOT BE ANYTHING. I have been reading all the comments for quite some time.
Everybody has a favourite, but that does not allow you to speak ill of others. All the kids worked very hard.
We should all appreciate their efforts.
And in supporting one’s favourite, I find that regionalism, family etc. are also criticised!
Why can’t we think that we are all indians and that is the only identity we have?

I loved Anwesha’s rendition of ‘Kambakth Ishk’ – such a hard song and she even sang a more difficult version with a lot of variations. And ‘Dola re dola’ was spelbinding!Such a difficult song (there no time to breathe) and she sang it perfectly. Aish’s voice sounded very nice in ‘Aye re Aye re’ and ‘ Bairi Piya’ but was a far cry from the originals with a lot of subtle mistakes. Shreya proved rightaway how ‘ Bairi piya’ should be sung.Anwesha is definitely the winner for me.

I request all Anu’s fans lets not give personal,regional or communal comments,we know Anu is best and people around the world who are music lovers appreciate Anu’s talent,lets not waste time in proving who is the best because our Queen has already shown her superiority time and again,so lets chill and vote for her,there is a job for us,lets put effort in that

Like v d are you deaf or blind! What imagination?? Aish talked to her DAD hours later of the first Jaipur episode and both pretended that its NEW NEWS that she is in the finals RIGHT? Anwesha did not tell her father that she is in the finals because he already knew that.Either Aish never botherd to call her DAD (that’s hard to believe) or its all DRAMA BAAZI, plain and simple. It does not take a rocket scientist to figure this out O.K.?

We have seen in the past the drama from the family of certain participants.we have seen for voym and we have seen from AISWAYARIA.
ASH’S MOTHER EMOTIONAL TEARS,grand mother’s appearing and grand father’s predictions before death,Her appeal that “GOD has her daughter special to her to be great singer”-TEARS HAVE FLOWN ALL THE TIME.FATHER ALSO MADE A VERY EMOTIONAL APPEAL at the wedding episode.HOW MUCH THIS add to create special effect but this part of the video edting should have been censored.
ANWEHA’S MOTHER:She is very reserved.she is self-contained and respectful.she didn’t made any comments even whes she wiped her tears silently.i have never seen her “god’s reference,bowinghead like voym’s mother or gleeing like ASH’S mother”. her last statement was very meaningful.question”what’s your feeling?”
she simply replied” as far as chotte ustaad is concerned,both two finalists are chotte ustaad and both are my daughters”
WHEN ANWESHA WAS TALIKING TO HER FATHER ,SHE REFERRED AIWYARIA’S SUCCESS TO HER FATHER as much as her. I ALSO SAW SHE HUGGED BOTH PRAKRITI AND AISWARYA WHEN THEY CRIED.OF COURSE ,IT goes without saying PRAKRITI and her aunt reflect GRACE ,BEAUTY AND DECENCY OF REARE QUALITY.

all said and done…its obvious that anwesha is wayyy better than aish…and shud be the winner but unfortunately we have been shocked before in voi and indian idol…why wud this be any different…sad:( lets stop critisizing and start praying for little anwesha…

Looks like Mr. DEVKISHIN is a relative or close friend of Shreya & Ashwariya. He writes so much on Blog & supports judges bahaviour towards Prakriti. He is also very sarcastic in his comments whenever he had praised Prakriti & sometimes with Anwesha.So sad.

Everyone has right to express their opinion & favour their contestants but it looks like DEVKISHIN has a very different way.
All human beings are beautiful. Mr. Drakbiswas comments “ugly” is not appropriate. Kunal & Shreya are equally guilty for humiliating kids on National TV.

I for once took Devkishin head on … for what he was talking in this forum.
Yes sir you must be twice my age and i should give respect to you but remember that you should behave in a manner that deserves respect.

Anyway…….i dont want to drag on this issue coz i believe my message did the necessary impact.

There are loyals on both sides (Aishwarya or Anwesha) but then there are certain undecided lot (swingers) who need a bit of help in deciding whom to vote.

My advice to those swingers is to go and hear the 22nd march episode coz it is the latest and I think the problem of who is the best is solved beyond doubt in this episode.

There are some Aishwarya fans in here who would still cry out loud that Aish did it better but I think there is no doubt in my mind or in judges or Urmilas mind who the better singer was … Anwesha !!!!

To tell you the truth i dont have any faith in the voting system and i think Anwesha is going to miss out on Chhote Ustaad because of voting. But she is going to rock hindi movies songs very very soon. She is not perfect but closer to the perfection that bollywood needs than Aishwarya. Aishwarya because of her voice definitely would find a place in bollywood but she will have to learn a bit more control over her voice, her breathing which she will achieve in the near future.

As far as Anwesha goes……You Rock !!!!

no doubt aishwarya may have worked hard as well…..but she seems more popular as a crowd-puller.

There are certain people in this forum who keep on talking about Nasal pitch to Anweshas voice when she sings those high pitches. But i would like to tell them that since you have nothing else to talk about in Anweshas singing that you come up with this flaw. She is perfect in Sur, Lay and Taal. As far as singing competition goes this is what we try and ascertain…….Whether ‘A’ competitor can sing in sur taal and lay. It is never checked if he sings with the exact open mouth or nasal twang like the original song.

Otherwise if you ask Kailash Kher to sing Mohd Rafis songs the way rafi sang……it would make him an ordinary singer but he is a great singer. If you ask anyone of the present generation to sing songs like Mukesh did….they will all be hopeless. But we dont want to listen the same throw, same open or close mouth, same things over and over again otherwise we would be Robots.

What we are looking for is whether a singer can stick to the original Sur, Taal, Lay.

With Anwesha though she does have a Nasal twang with high pitches she sticks to the original sur so well that she rarely misses it.

While with Aishwarya, she misses the sur, taal atleast a few times in each song. Though she sounds melodious…that is not enough for a singer.
Also she has modified many songs for her own convenience over this competition which is not good when you are growing up. She is not great enough to change the original composition.

Anwesha was just fabulous in this episode. Both songs were very dificult and she did them both 100% justice. She was clearly the better performer tonight. Though I liked Aishwarya’s ‘Bairi Piya,’ the mistakes in her performance could be easily noted after hearing Shreya sing the song. Anwesha, what more can I say? She is simply on a league of her own. Whether she wins this competition or not, it is clear that she will be every Music Dircetor’s favourite young singing artiste very soon.

Anwesha might have a slight nasal tone to her voice (when she attempts the high notes, this is more obvious), I noticed this particularly with ‘nimbooda’ (though she sang this exceptionally well), but Aishwarya doesn’t even try singing high-pitched songs and when she does, she often goes besura. Aishwarya, though she is a very good singer, does not have the range, finesse and control of Anwesha…

I think you’re taking this nasal(?)thing to a little bit too far. High Pitch is one thing and nasal another thing O.k.? Anu has never been nasal and yes she had to sing at a very high pitch which is very hard to attain. Aish can’t even attain the high notes unless she sings in falsetto so ther’s no comparison.

I am with you in terms of who should win this competition .. Anwesha.

But I would also ask you to refrain from throwing mud on gujjus as a whole community or any community for that matter. I am not a gujju but i think this is what divides the country and makes us vulnerable for other countries to take advantage of.

I know you are upset that despite doing her best a great upcoming singer … Anwesha will be robbed off a chance of victory and that too for a non singing reason. But that is what India as a whole country is made up of. You look at results starting from your 1st grade. Indians are just too loyal to their own kind, and money rather than talent.

And this is what kills you. That time and again talent is made to hide under the carpet. Time and again it takes a whole Mahabharat to take place before you find the truth.

Anwesha was far much better than Aishwarya in both the songs. It would be unfair and unwise if she loses in the finals. From my own point of view, Anwesha is the true “Chhote Ustaad”.

I do not know whey it is always Anwesha who has to sing duets etc. For example, the song Ga Re Man Piya was originally sung by two male and two female singers, Morni Baga Mein was sung by two female singers and last night’s song was also originally sung by Shreya and Krishnamurti. Shereya herself confessed that she goes out of breath whenever she sings this song. So, hats on for Anwesha that she sang it as near to the original.

Why don’t they ask Aishwarya to sing such songs. My own observation is that the judges and Gajendra are favoring Aishwarya in spite of the fact that Anwesha is better than her.

As was pointed out by one of the judges earlier, if Anwesha loses in the finals then it is “India’s loss”. I hope that this does not happen and I believe that the people of India, keeping in view that music is their religion, will not make a mistake and will chose Anwesha for the title of “Chhote Ustaad”

Abhas, in the very begining, told the press in an interview that in his opinion Anwesha is the best singer among all the contestants of ‘CHHOTE USTAAD’.

Anyone who understands music will know who has sung which song better. It was sad to see Shreya being not true to musinc as it was not expected from her. This is regarding the show on 22nd march.

Aishwarya is a mediocre singer with a great voice. Anwesha is an excellent singer with a good voice. This is where the difference lies…

Anyone can have a sweet voice and carry a tune, but how they manage sustain a tune and develop complete control over sur, taal, breath ..etc. is what separates an average singer from a great singer. Anwesha is the most consistent performer of the entire lot. She has hardly ever lost her sur, she manages to sing very difficult with such effortlessness and ease and in between all this, she is also capable of adding in several variations of her own in any given song! Her voice modulation is flawless and the fact that she is still able to hold her sur while attempting very low notes as well as the very high notes is truly commendable.

It was very obvious who the better performer was today. There is only one deserving contestant for the title of chhote ustaad and she is ANWESHA DATTA GUPTA.

People can we all just behave in a mature manner and not make this a battle ground for personal issues & comments.

you guys have a lot of time arguing/fighting anyway, I also wasted some time reading most of these comments, then realize, this is what all makers of program like to achieve… anyways, shreya took breathe away with her performance… I have seen so many live performances, nothing was like this… her singing is as beautiful as she is… Anwesha and Ash has to go a long way to reach upto her level, but both of these girls have a lot of potential for sure.. everyone has their own favorite.. this doesn’t mean we shud pull otherone down.. for me Anwesha has an edge over Aishwarya…

Hi all, would just like to say Voi singers on the whole are emerging better then saregama singers. Look at ABHAS and ANVESHA. such phenomenal talent.They will rule the music industry in days to come. perhaps with a little competion from Abhas’ beloved(as i found out from this blog) ABHILASHA.

i think Gajji has changed the format for the final because the judges are unable to distinguish the two finalists as they are both deserving > judges refused to do any further and left the final decision to the public picking ; whoever the public wants.
so now, the public to decide the chotte ustaad grand finale.

after seeing this episode one thing I would like to say that why the judges are not making true comments on the songs of aish and annu are singing….

in “Bairy piya” aish made at least 6 mistakes … which can be detected by any one ( no need to have musical funda…) … if bad comments are gven for prakiti’s singing then why not aish this time…. I think this is the worst performance by aish till so far….
even annu made 1/2 mistakes in ” kambaqt ishq”… in male voice part ( sukhwinder singh’s part) I think she could not reach at that scale of male’s voice…

I agree with jack.the judges are not giving public correct guidance. How will people then know that Anvesha needs to win? judges should take a stand here.

After listening to all mp3 songs of Anwesha, I listed the following songs as exceptional:

Aao Na – perfect singing, it is a listening pleasure, shows she can hit a big time as a commercial singer.

Ami Je Tumar – I know if I’ll point out mistake in this song, people will kill me.. First word came out of my mouth when I first heard her rendition is “WOW”.. after hearing a lot many times, I could see some nasal touches… as Shreya has pointed it out clearly, she can improve on this easily.. which means, wait, you will going to see a top class singer soon..

Hum dil de chuke sanam – her rendition can take your breathe away.. I compared it a lot with the original.. definitly this one sounds much better than the original.. mistakes are there, but can be easily ignored..

Nimbuda – I recommend you to hear the original and anwesha’s rendition… words sounded more clearer coming from anwesha than kavita.. check it out..

Mujhe Rang De – I have the original in my audio CD and I always use to skip it.. but I could not skip anwesha’s one.. here I won’t say that she sang it better than original.. no ways.. but something in her voice make you listen to it again and again.. No Nasal thing.. She has already improved a lot.. and surely ready for playback.. beware Shreya finally u have a strong competition coming ur way ..

Mausam Ki Adla Badli mein – Listen to this rendition carefully.. she didn’t miss out the best part of it.. I searched for this song on net after listening to this..

Jane Kiya chahe man – After listening to the audio of this song, I was thinking that her rendition shall be made part of that movie audio CD now, cos it is definitly better than Zubin’s version …

It is hard to fit all songs’ review here since she sang all of her songs sooo well … I saw that one too where (tune chor) Pritam gave bad comments to her and made her cry.. I was so furious at him on that episode .. I liked the way Salman treated him in a later episode..

I am big fan of Anwesha and therefore liked all her songs.. she made mistakes couple of times in her songs, but overall she was very consistent.. Her voice is a listening pleasure.. She seems to have an excellent knowledge of music at this age.. above all she is sooo humble.. You should give credit to her to sing all those songs so consistently well, which I could not see it any other contestants from this or anyother shows..

This doesn’t mean that Aishwarya is not upto the mark to compete against her.. There were some of songs where she scored over Anwesha (whatever may be the reasons).. Her standout performances were Albela Sajaan and Chori Chori.. She sounded better than Anwesha in “man kiyon Behka” duet..

Also I heard “man mohana” from Aishwarya and “Ek Radha Ek Meera” from Anwesha many times.. Well, Aish song was much tougher and and she sang it really well.. but Anwesha made her song more beautiful by her singing.. Aish got most of the praise in that episode while Anwesha didn’t get much.. this was definitly not fair…

Just heard “Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam” from Anwesha again.. I get goose pimples all the time I hear her rendition of this song and this time was no exception.. this is called consistency .. Whatelse you want in a winner… anyways, We haven’t seen a deserving winner in any of the reality shows… See the examples.. Indian Idol 1 – abhijit sawant won while Amit sana, the runner up was better.. II2 – Sandeep was not deserving to be in final and still he won.. Karunya was much much better.. singers like monali thakur and Amit were eliminated much earlier.. II3 – there is no comparision of Amit and Prashant.. Prashant himself admitted many times that Amit is the best, still he lost.. Saregamapa last year has Poonam, Amanat and Raja who were in that order as per their singing quality, still the person deserving to be on 4th position won.. Saregamapa Lil champ.. the best contestent was Smita Nandi.. she was made to eliminated by judges biased comments.. Anamika won.. she was better than other top 3, but defintly no where close to Smita.. SVOI, definitly Abhas was better than other lot and I was just surprised to see ishmit and harshit as top 2, and toshi eliminated much before… wow…

So no surprise if Anwesha doesn’t win this…

I like the way Gaji manipulated the voting systems timings… 50% judges 50% janata, till Prakriti was there… once she was gone, focus shifted to earn the maximum money from janata.. reason given, judges feel offended by janata’s comments or something.. give me a break.. how easy to fool indian janta… they will give votes in crores and make these people rich on the name of these talented kids…

Whatever anybody says about the program, it’s dramabazi etc.. we are here becos we liked it.. I don’t have a star tv channel here in US, but I follow it regularly starting with spoiler result and then videos of the friday and saturday’s shows.. mostly I used to watch Anwesha’s and Aishwarya’s performances, but then I started looking into other things that were surfacing, like ill treatment of Prakriti etc… Well, I noticed that with all her limitations, she was not that bad.. Go by her age, she has done a good job.. comments given by all judges to her were not fair at all.. true, somebody pointed it out that too that way judges never pointed the mistakes done by Aishwarya.. she was not as consistent as Anwesha… why prakriti was always targetted.. why pritam has to comment that we should stop eliminating kids as it affect them?.. did he and other ever think the same about Prakriti, whom they insulted like anything?.. all those episode make me boil with anger for these guys…

And by the way why we are dividing India by these regionalism things… by asking darjling to vote for prakriti.. bengal for anwesha and gujrat for aish.. these shows are creating more problem for us, indians.. why can’t we learn from movies like “Chak De” if we can’t think about these things ourselves.. why prakriti is asked to say “jai gorkhaland”… all of these are so ridiculous.. we are injecting all these in kids… here also we are fighting with eachother based on regionalism… future doesn’t look that bright for India…

Anwesha, looking at songs you have sung in past, I think you should sing classical songs in your next performances – at least include one classical in most of your remaining performances – on 28 march/29 march, 4 april , 5 april as well.

FOR ANWESHA:whatever song Anwesha chooses should include her strength :1.high pitch 2.classical nodes
These two will bring her noticeable and on higher octave she has no parallel. shreya’s comment”she has surpassed me”(the song dola ..dedicated by anwesha) is a true tribute to her accolade.
pop types are cheap never suits her voice> ref:Talat Mahmood<king of Ghazal used to advise his students :not to shout,not to speak very loud etc.
vocal cord does stretch after shouting in a game, makes it hoarse but tear or nodule also takes permanent damage.

I think Anwesha has sung non-classical songs quite well too. Listen to Aao na, jaane kiya chahe man, Mausam ki.. she has such a sweet voice.. Her classical background reflects in all of her renditions… she has a very sober and intelligent personality too.. even her stage presence looks good.. I found her parents really well mannered and good.. Her mother always bear a composure of a very good personality, which reflects in Anwesha’s on stage presence as well… and talent of this girl… oh my God !!! I have her songs in my IPod and I prefer listening to her over “Jannat” and “Metro” songs.

Aish is no less though… see the video of her in youtube, where she has sung “chalo tumko lekar chalein” song when she was much younger.. that was amazing too.. she is a nutkhat kid.. watch her video of chori chori.. how coolly she sung that song while doing all those isharas to Salman… I have seen contestants and judges getting subdued by his presence and remarks in Saregamapa and here too.. But here I saw a girl who boldly presented herself and performed wonderfully.

And how can you forget Prakriti.. At this young age, how well he performed in front of such a big audience.. I bet you take her to a recording studio and you will find a unique, pleasing voice like no other.. If people liked Monali Thakur in race songs, surely they will find something new in Prakriti’s voice too..

I didn’t listen to other contestants of the show, so I donno how good or bad they are.. But these three deserves to be praised and liked by all.. Once, this show will get over, we’ll feel a big void, but we’ll forget them like the contestants of other shows.. so my heart says, why can’t this shows go on and on, and we keep on listening to these gems week after week.. It may sound silly but I feel so proud to see their performances as if they are my daughters

FOR AISWYARIA:
she has breathing difficulty so she might not keep a sutained pitch for a period.medium pitch suites her best.she may rise to the heigh but has to fall sharply instead of slope.some may not like that.
she also has classical-node interrupts for a better performance.she definitely accentuates her pronunication of Hindi lyrics better than any body else >gives her the edge and makes the song meaningful.
she is very stage free and her facial expression and gestures are very matured for live performance.she is unparalleled.
Even when she speaks she gestures with hand and eyes> when she sings her facial, eyes ,body curving and free hand swings out her hip gives her perfect stage appeal of a woman singer than a child.

Man you’re so naive! The Judges know ,Specially Kunal,who the best singer is and that is obviously Anwesha. Gajji wants Aish to win – you want proof?
Here it is :
1. Aish rides like a Queen on her own elephant and the rest had to share because Gajji has no money to rent 3 elephants.Then at least he could have put all of them on one elephant right?

2.In the episodes preceding Bhopal, Anwesha was given garbage songs to sing when Aish got Albela and chori chori. Supposedly Anu had no control on song selection when others had some flexibility! How unfair is that? He just wanted to bring Aish somewhat close to Anu’s standard. That’s not favouritism then what is?
3. When Kunal didn’t want to give Aish any marks after ‘AYE RE ‘ , he was forced to do so by Gajji. But nothing was said to Preetam And Shreya (OBVIOUSLY THEY LOVED DOLA RE DOLA) and they were not ordered to to give marks! There is no set rule in this show and that’s just amazing!It’s A ONE MAN SHOW!!
4. How Bhopal and Jaipur were chosen ?? Surely they can’t be the highest voters! ThOSE PLACES were chosen to promote Abhas and Shreya(who was born in Rajasthan)obviously.And Pratriti was the favourite in Jaipur?- please give me a break o.k.?
So Gajji is doing whatever He wants. Now he changed the rules again to 100% Public voting so that His favourite Aish can win. He knows very well that all the judges know music very well and they are going to vote for the only superbly talented singer, ANWESHA.Why all the farce?? Lets just annonce Aish as the CHHote Ustaad ALL RIGHT?lET’S NO PLAY ANYMORE GAMES!

We shall ignore their small mistakes as they are very young and have to sing in one take..

drama etc are introduced by the makers of this show and not by these contestants .. they have come here with bundle of talent.. our job is to appreciate their talents and not find faults.. at this age, they themselves knows much more than all of us here about music.. they have time to work on their shortcomings and become top stars in future.. We shall feel ourselves privileged to see these talents in our times..

2.is these are all pre-recorded and then lip-synching on stage? or live and not pre- recorded.

2.why does he select cities like Bhopal ,jaipur than other cities?

3.How does he manage his financial gain from these reality shows ?..is it through indian tv channels or commercials?

She is coming in my list of top singers now.. well for me ultimate singer is Lata, followed by Shreya.. for me third is poonam.. and the fourth entry is of Anwesha… I guess the way things are going, soon Anwesha wud be after Lata (whom nobody can replace)..

Now it doesn’t matter whether Anwesha wins or not. More important is she should get some projects so that we get to hear her recording room voice.. I want to confirm whether she can beat shreya or not..

Hi all.today I saw 22nd episode.All who r telling that Anwesha is far better than Aish ,then please check out once.I agree Aish devdas song has some mistakes,but Anwesh’s dola re dola is also not cpmparable to Srey’s ,too much nasal voive.So both are eqal.Far more to learn to get upto Shreya.

I agree with you.Poonam and Aneek were a class apart. They fall in the category of Anbhas, Anvesha. That is called perfection, dedication, love for music which sounds in every note.

If we listen to Poonam and Anvesha, we see the enermous female talent we have in india. both have that passion which unites them.they come from different backgrounds, fiancial and social settings are different, poonam is 26 yrs old and Anvesha 14 yet the common factor is a love for singing, a quest for perfectibility and a search for the divine through singing. i am not even going into technical aspects becuase both are near perfect. i just want to say that these two are singers which can bring tears to your eyes.

Abhas and Aneek are young adults at 18, more headstrong as boys that age are bound to be and definitely excellent singers. i want them to be Mohammed rafi and kishore Kumar of future. i feel Abhas was a little distracted because of his obvious fondness for Abhilasha and the two were definitely in love.i could make that out,and that took a toll on both Abhas and Abhilasha’s immediate focus. Same for Aneek. Though there was nothing between him and sumedha, all the hyped romance made it out to be a big deal.But these boys can do very well if they give music their all like Poonam and Anvesha have.

I don’t think poonam and anvesha are better in terms of technical stuff. its just that they did not let love, romance, family, friends in fact anything come between their ove for music. Abhas and Aneek should learn from them

I just feel that in the age group of 16-24 young adults are bound to be more hedonistic. Abhas and Abhilasha fell in love and that became a priority for them.nothing wrong in that! But that did take a toll on their singing and performance, especially young Abhilasha. Abhas manged better but at times their love for each other overtook their love for singing.
I do want to see them married and they will definitely make a talented couple. Same goes for Rahul Vaidya and Prajakta Shukre of indian idol 1, Puja and Emon of indian idol 3. They became distracted and that is not the best thing to do in a reality hsow.

However singers like Shreya and Sunidhi in past and Poonam and Anvesha in present have given music their 100% focus. they are bound to do well, because even Anvesha could have been distracted because of vyom and poonam because of raja. Both raja and vyom were more than a little interested in them. however I salute their spirit of commitment to music.

that is hwere I feel poonam and Anvesha scored over equally good Aneek and Abhas– commitment, passion and love for their art.

There’s nothing great when I support Aishwarya. I’m completely convinced that she’s BEST, she’s better than Anwesha, she’ll be the greatest playback singer ever, she’ll also be a great classical singer, a great ghazal singer, etc. I hope that she’ll also sing some other language songs like Bengali, Marathi and even some South Indian songs. I’d like to bet Dr.A.K.Biswas that she could sing Rabindra Sangeet as good as anyone else, if given an opportunity.

I’m a committed fan of her for life and will be so even if there are bad times for her (I don’t agree that this is a bad time for her). I won’t be true to myself if I don’t support her if bad times come.

It doesn’t matter if 1000 people attack me verbally. The only way I can go silent is if someone put a gun to my head or showed a knife. Then, to save myself I’d have to back down but that won’t stop me from knowing inside that AISHWARYA IS THE BEST.

Almost everyone here is forgettnig or not taking into account the song selection. The song selection process is not clearly indicated to us. At times, it is found that The song selection has not been in the hands of contestents. Recently at one point, difficult and nice songs have been given to Aishwarya. And simpler non-famous songs to Anwesha.
So Answesha has had less chance to show off her talent. She also could have sung nicer and difficult songs that public would like. But she was not given this chance. If given, zero doubt she would sing it amazing. So we cannot say Aishwarya has shown versatility and she is better singer. There are some particular songs which had they both sung, then it would be fair comparison. This is simply an unfair comparison that we are doing right now.

Sometimes they are taking more than 20 votes online but I don’t know whether they are going to be Counted.For SMS votes I think the same rule applies- just 20 votes for each number. But if the server allows you to vote then WHY not let’s just vote to our heart’s content! But We really don’t know whether the extra votes are going to be counted or not.

I just found out that Aish sang ‘Soni de nakhre’ and ‘In dino’ and Anu sang ‘Mahi ve’( got standing ovation from the audience and the judges)& ‘o meri jaan’ in Delhi.Guest judge was Shilpa Shetty. Harshit Saxena also was there and sang “Jabse se tere naina” and Mika sang Mauja hi mauja.Anu and Aish also did a Jugalbandi with Mast kalandar.

While I completely agree that the fans of Anwesha have the right to support their favourite, their arguments are clearly biased, one sided and illogical.

1.Gajji desperately wants Aish to win at any cost. If so, why would he admit Anwesha into the contest? A few weeks back, the father of one of the contestants from Kolkata who didn’t make it, was reporting that Anwesha did NOT even attend the Kolkata auditions. (I’m happy Anwesha’s in the contest, otherwise Aish wouldn’t have any worthwhile challenge).
But the point is that Anwesha was taken directly by Gajji without an audition.

2.Whenever Aish sings superbly, which is most of the time, these fans say Anwesha was not given good songs. When Anwesha sings well, this argument is not mentioned.

1.If Aishwarya sings well and Anwesha sings poorly, they say Anwesha was given bad songs.

2. If Bhopal votes for Aishwarya, they say why was Bhopal selected?

3. If judges are reluctant to give marks because it has no effect on the result, they say judges were prevented from giving poor marks to Aishwarya by Gajji.

4.If judges give all Sartaj Sarvottam to Aishwarya, they say that Gajji forced them to do so.

5.Aishwarya getting more votes for them means money power.

6.The public supporting Aishwarya in millions means they don’t know anything about music and only these fans know everything there’s to know about music.

In other words, as long as the rest of the world doesn’t toe their line and bow to their viewpoint, they’ll keep complaining.

Anyway, whoever wins in this public voting tug of war, it’ll just be a victory of muscle power and money power.

The result of this contest makes NO difference as far as the future in the music industry is concerned.
