Every individual is privileged to his/her opinion as to who he/she likes. For me Anwesha has better Music sense. Plus her mother’s modesty and humility also reflects in her personality.

oh well the competition is nearing its end and i don’t think much can change noww…but thats okay b/c anwesha has already gotten a break and hopefully music directors, etc are not as dumb as the public and prob have a broad sense of musicc, so anwesha will be offerred many opportunities in the near future. anwesha fans need not worry!

We left India on apil3rd; went for family reunion and a wedding.
Quite a coincidental, we have 3 children like Devkishinji, all in their twenty’s.
First son is an ophthalmologist (eye surgeon same as my profession) is a Stanford graduate, 2nd daughter is a Stanford Med student and 3rd daughter in UC, law student.
We have raised them with values and love.
I am dedicating more time in Research for Diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma, two major causes of blindness in the world. I have worked for Lyon’s international for 12yrs for prevention of blindness all over the world.

Besides my profession as a doctor, I have an export- import business of sports equipments, an extension of my love for sports medicine with two Americans.
Time, health and resource are 3 important managements in life but 4th money management is an added requirement of modern society >should be taught to every child as money matters >earning, saving and investment decisions all are educative learning and should be taught early; Many highly educated people without the knowledge of money management have suffered tremendously. Life is a science but living is an art. University’s highest degree can’t guarantee you a living and happiness. The business alongside a profession could save a family from premature death and despair (although my wife is a physician).

Majority of my family members and my father from east Bengal were killed and dispossessed of their land & properties; we started a new chapter as refugee in India in1966. (Hindu’s property was declared as enemy’s property in East Pakistan by law; Middle class Hindus were targeted for ethnic cleansing and land acquisition). Unfortunate saga of human tragedy in Indian subcontinent.

Bengal > her soil, rivers, air, lush green meadows with folk music & songs (baul),Rabindra sangeet to fisherman’s net> all touches my soul & whispers in my being. I always like to share the joy of living, hoping it could uplift others’ life!

I know there would be many like me waiting for something new from Anvesha.. Already felt hurt that she is still given songs like “Dupatta Tera”.. Anyway, just waiting that this contest get over and some good music director will cut a good album with her.. I’ll be ready to give any price for that.. wud love if she’ll keep appearing as a playback singer in our movies.. man, she has range which you don’t find even in established singers.. I am surprised now that people say that her voice matches with that of Shreya.. that’s not true.. listen her songs of asha and kavita.. she sounds very close to them as well.. her voice is though quite different from Lata.. actually, she has her own unique voice and she can modulate as per requirements (this has been pointed out several times).. she is 100% ready for playback.. no more, I think that there should be a tie.. cos after going thru songs of both of them several times, it is crystal clear in my mind that she is FAR FAR superior than Aish in all departments of singing.. if Aish still wins, it means majority that have voted for her are either deaf or dumb or have no music sense.. it will be a big shame.. but that is what happens in all of these contests..

Anwesha may or may not lose tomorrow, but one thing is sure, she has certainly captured the hearts of the many music-lovers fortunate enough to listen to her amazing voice.

Your point is interesting. Its not only the organizers of this show, but Britishers and even politicians have successfully used DIVIDE AND RULE policy to rule over India. I am not saying that what organizers is ethically correct, only that I want to say is organizers know exactly what will sell in India and they are using it for earning money. Its all business buddy!!
