if there is no proper planning before commencement of any show the result would be just a disaster as is evident from some strange decisions which have been taken at this late stage to keep the show alive.
vipul’s ouster compelled the organisers to change the very format and each judge was permitted to bring back one eliminated contestant back. ismail darbar called back zakir, monty preferred mallar and sukhvinder was able to retain vipul.

the return of three prodigals would certainly prop up the show but it would certainly affect the chances of the remaining three contestants who were selected for the finale on 24-10-08.
zakir performed brilliantly-saptaparna’s song selection was poor- rithisha put in her best effort to lift her performance to very high level-mallar was ok- vipul’s voice quality must improve as his diction is not clear
all said and done zakir if properly groomed appears to be the strongest contender for the title of voi.zakir possesses very powerful voice and his disability must not come in his way of his real talent .zakir can fill the void created by untimely demise of legendary mohammed rafi. rafi’s songs suit zakir perfectly and he should continue to select such songs just as rafi was rafi zakir will remain zakir.there can only be one rafi and so would be zakir.
indeed strange are the ways of reality shows when formats are altered mid-way to make the show watchable.
just eliminate voting by the public which has proved to be the greatest flaw in the system and then everything will work out smoothly.

Mallar very conveniently lowered the sacle and got away with the “mitwa” number and the praises.
Vipul was ok but keeps altering his voice in a very haphazard but clever manner. Dada Dadi hain na!
Ritisha as well as her dad are very honest ppl. She feels complexed about her being a south indian which is very evident in her body language. The attitude of the judges/gurus doesnt help one bit. You are better than u think u are.Go for it gal!
Saptaparna has a clear and expressive voice but her apparently dramatised devotion to music which takes away the joy from her singing is quite irritating.
Zakir, not Vipul/Mallar is the find of the contest ! He may not be a maestro at his singing but he is the only one with the guts to attempt a Rafi song. His lovely voice and his cheerful attitude despite the drama done by the judges make his singing quite enjoyable. Great job Zakir.
Ravi is going all out to please the guests. With average singing, average voice, above average looks and an anjum on his side Ravi might just last.

Considering strength and weakness of all contestants, I think Ritisha is having very soft and sweet voice, she sings very well, her voice is best suited on every leading actress of this era. She should win the competition.

I was reading rumours in a indiaforum posing that aish was supposed to comeon as a wildcard… but never saw that happen in any of the subsequent shows.;Do you know what happened.. this show needs these 2 kids.

I am all for Rishita. Dont know why the judges are biased against her. Saptaparna is also very good but needs to do pranayam. Mallar is one of the most accomplished of the lot. Zakir – well Zakir is Zakir!!
Ravi is inconsistent. Why has Vipul been brought back?

I am very disappointed with the show. I believe judges are favoring vipul. Even before when vipul was eliminated, they found a reason to bring him back which I think is not fair. I think they believe vipul should be the next voice of India that is why they are doing anything and everything to bring him back. After being eliminating twice to bring someone back into the show so late into the game is not fair to other 3 contestants.

I really cannot understand the format being altered! What for? Just to get back your favorite? Looks like the judges are busy selecting their own choice and want them to win at any cost? Well if so what happend to Rohit? no god father for this poor guy? Well i think they should have continued the show with the final three and tought of formatting the show for 2009!

I don’t understand why the format wasn’t changed when Rohit Sunar was eliminated? Why does the format keep changing only when Vipul gets eliminated? For those who don’t know or remember, this is the second time format was changed becoz vipul was eliminated. The first time he was eliminated (sept 26th), some goons came on the stage and threatened Gajendra Singh’s team and this time Sukhiji threatened that he wouldn’t sing. This is for Gajendra Singh, Don’t you have a backbone? Why can’t you stand up and tell these ppl that you are sticking to the original format? Or it is that you are supporting Vipul bcoz he is a punjabi just like you and sukhiji?? If Vipul wins the VOI, ppl are going to loose complete hope on this reality show and you will prove that votings have nothing to do with one’s winning. If the judges believe that Janata is not making a good decision there shouldn’t have been voting to begin with, then again the judges would have chose their favorites, Ravi and Rishita wouldn’t have a chance at all. Something needs to be done, I don’t like where this show is heading…

sukhvinder is good singer but here he proves that he is a shit as a human., partial and biased person.

Argument of bringing back Vipul, Mallar and Zakir is that they were good singers and it was unfair to eliminate them. Come on guys!! give me a break! DO you think we are naive enough to believe this balooi?
