As I predicted the show was engineered heavily in favor of Vipul and heavily against Ritisha and Ravi. C’mon guys give me a break!! To make it seem little genuine, Mallar and Zakir were brought along with Vipul under the guise that ‘it was unfair that good singers were being eliminated’. Crap. DOnt tell me that these judges do not know how public voting goes… (In that case, why have public voting in the 1st place and waste peoples’ time and money spent on SMS?)

    zakir–85/100
    malaar—70/100
    saptaparna-vipul,rithisha&ravi—50 to 60/100
except zakir the performances of other contestants were erratic and not upto the mark.
judges were forced to downgrade zakir to avoid public criticism.
IN MY OPINION Z A K I R IS ALREADY THE AMUL STAR VOICE OF INDIA–2.

Good singers should boycott this show. Sukhwinder and Ismail are useless and not fit to be judges. They are biased and have their own favorites. Even the format of the show has been modified so many times to benefit their favorite singers. This show, Star Voice Of India, is definitely losing its credibility as an impartial show. We Indians living in the US are avid watchers of this show, or at least we WERE until now. This is disappointing and an insult to the Indian ways of finding talent in its people. What happened to our judges from Star VOI Chote Ustaad, who stayed objective in their evaluations of the contestants?

I watch this show in Canada. Star Voice of India provides a good glimpse into India’s North – South divide. Favoritism, partiality and domination of males by any means possible is amply displayed on this show. Rithisha has consistently week-after-week towered over the others in her ability to sing in tune and this has reflected in her votes. The Judges however make it a point to refrain from showering any praise. Instead (watch the first show) they praise the format or recall losing singers when she is ahead. The biggest disappointment was after the qawalli show where they displayed their north Indian, male favoritism by giving this talented singer the last place…even after Ravi, who I would rate is the worsts singer on any reality show todate. Any time he is on screen effort is made to involve his girlfriend to garner more Delhi votes. If you want to make a sincere & honest effort to bring out the Voice of India, Judges -don’t make a mockery of the process

How dare Sukhvinder said bluntly to Zakir by naming other singers they are better than him? Where he himself stands? He is a one songs singer, in my opinion Zakir is far better singer than him.

judges chosen for this show are bunch of jokers, we need unbiased, dignified, honest and those who have some integrity.

I strongly believe there should be two different categories, that is star voi male and star voi female.

There will be more charm in the competition as there is no point in comparing male and a female singers.

    What do you think friends?????

    Judges are very patronizing.
They may be great but they think that others are stupid and inferior.
If they think like that public will throw them out.

If you think your so fukin good at judging why dont you fuking go to india and become a judge and if you cant do that then shut the fuk up !

Yes I agree to you nik, Ravi did sing good no fukin doubt. in fact I would say everyone sung good and everyone should be VOI. you see all the viewers are wasting there time in watching these shows cos hto tell you the truth all these 6 will get singing contracts one way or another so why the big issue man . But seriously all of them have potential.

All the three judges are big time joker and cheater and Rithisha needs help there she is conered very much, either she should go out from there as the judges wont let her grow there.

Anyways i am not watching it any more the song sung by Vipul today the same was sung by Tarun Sagar on saregamapa oct 17th that was singing its weas simply the best and Judges say Vipul is good good save the good voice

I wish you all the best.

How dare the judjes disobey public voting, then whats the use of public voting.. What do they think of themselves.. I was really happy when there are two girls in top 3 and thought atleast this time a girl will be reality show winner. Public should boycott these judges, all three judges are not fair and they are not fit to be judges.

Ritisha, Ravi and Saptaparna needs our/public support. Guys and girls wake up…and fight against the injustice.. Ritisha is a south indian girl who needs lot of support….Wake up…..India..Wake up

I feel Ismail is totally biased. He shows a lot of fa ouritism to Saptaparna who is certainly not better than Ritisha. He has always been partial to the singers from the North. C’mon south indians are trying to prove themselves good and for once we have somebody from the south doing good with all the chances of becoming voice of india. Judges should be impartial and not praise only thier students, He puts Saptaparna on a pedestal and now she too has develped an attitude. calling her roshni…… Ritisha has been doing great she needs more encouragement and kind words from Ismail who thinks he is great and is a mr.know it all.I watch the show because of Shan who is there to encourage and support the participants. Also i don’t understand why the camera has to constantly focus on the girl who has fallen for Ravi. It is simply stupid behaviour on the girl’s part to make comments looks like she has no better work.I think Vipul will make a good candidate for becoming the voice of India. Way to go Ritisha we are there for you from bangalore. Congrtulations for getting this far. We are proud of you

these judges are surely goood fo nuthin..i have never heard them even give a proper judgement to anyone…they have no clue abt surr taal…all they say is chaa gayaa n good..i think these judges shud be kicked out of the show..n i totally support Zakir…i think he is the strongest singer in the competition…Ravi is the worst one..n i hate his girlfriend anjum..she needs to get a life…i have lost my interest in the show..i love saregamapa…the judges r not biased on that show…they give good judgements unlike these bunch of losers..anyways GO ZAKIRRRR!!!!

  19. By Geetha - Ritisha's supporter on Nov 6, 2008 | Reply

I definitely agree with many who think the judges are biased….for sure many singers are not singing well. In the qawwali round, i felt Ritisha did not deserver the lowest marks. I think Sukwinder singh is biased towards zakir and vipul. Zakir did not sing well at all….and Ritisha really sang better than zakir, Ravi…Well, our votes to ritisha should really justify the real singing prowess and abilities.
Ritisha – dont lose heart – we are all with you…
no matter who is roshny – you are our land’s roshny!!
    keep rocking!
    I love you ritisha…..

I do agree Rithish is a good singer, she doesnt have any support. For my point of view she is the voice of india. These judges dont know how to encourage a good singer. They are just suporting all the time their favorite.Rithisha needs a good support and voting from public.

Everyone knows that the Judges are doing every thing else other than being the judges. One maybe they themselves are not up to the mark. The last time, VOI had celebrities coming in week after week. Yester year actors (Rishi / Neetu), Contemporary (Sanjay Dutt / Govinda etc) and it had five judges.
Zee, NDTV Imagine all had judges not agreeing with the people’s vote but they never made mockery of the show. I do not know why Star is tolerating all this rubbish from the judges.
I can assure Star that if the same continues, they will lose their audience.
My bet, the winner should be Ritisha.

I’ve been saying from the beginning that Saregamapa is such a better show than VOI….its true…they have better singers…no one changes the format of the show…after that note though…jus b/c rithisha is a girl and south indian doesnt mean shes a great singer…as an audience member…i dont find anything special with her voice or character…to me she seems like an ordinary singer like the thousands of singers in India…however if u pay attention to Vipul’s voice you can notice…(those of you that know music or have had a music class)…that he has a unique voice and is different from other singers out in India…he has variety compared to Ravi…who doesnt…he kinda reminds me of Raja (saregamapa) who got kicked out of the show and came back with a vengence…now hes a great playback singer b/c he had a unique voice and was determined to win everyones hearts…last years VOI was alot better than this year…better singers and better format…i could actually compare the three shows…but this year…..thank god saregamapa & indian idol exist…

Yes, I too as an audience member & knowing music or had a music class, can make out how Ritisha’s each note which singing is perfect & how melodius is her voice.
