It is indeed obvious that the judges have preplanned to take Vipul & Sapthaparna to the finals and make sure that Vipul wins the title(looks like the mafia from Punjab have threatened the them!)
The drama will continue by placing Rithisha,Malhar & Ravi in the bottom 3 and make sure that they eliminated eventually.There is no respect or value for the talent of the singers and the time/money spent by the viewers,This is just a game of the fools!The public should boycott such reality shows and donate their money for a worthier cause!
I totally agree – Judges are biased, they should be neutral.
What it means – by hook or crook vipul has to win, in essence they don’t think others are good performers. Why recall failed candidate ? just because judge thinks so ? That means judge is biased and he should be spectator and not judge – let him vote like common man.

Its ver very sad to note that living in this world were racism still exit, vipul singing is like donkey barking in the street still the judges encourag him, were as sapthaparna is also the same, judges are not to meant tosit on they chair, when they cant decide, who are there to select , why cant they live to the public,to decide, its very sad to see zakir elimantion though he was the best among the 6
I think after the death of Dear Ismeet, Vipul has never grown himself out of the shock of his demise. He seems to be burdened by the passing away of Ismeet and thinks he can replace him by bringing people from his place who jump from their seats if he looses his point in the reality show. It does look that they are going to pull their daggers out if Vipul is not made to win. Honestly, there is no real talent left in the current contenders. Ryan was the rock of the stage and attracted the people all over the world but through close politics of the contenders he was out. Has any body thought about the Mohd Rafi of the VOI Dear Zakir Hussain. He sang with his heart and was a real singer, but the close politics of the stage singers, none of them ever said that he is good. I think it is a matter of picking the best from the worst left over. Ismail Durbar should be more authoratative and the judges should not be intimidated and should be fair as afterall if they do not have brains, the Indian public do have. They are puppets in the hands of Vipul and a bunch of his Red Hot crowd from his native place.

Nov 7 : I am a viewer from Canada and this show sucks. Three losers were bought back and the ones who should have been closing the deal see themselves in the bottom three. Favoritism & Partiality is so openly flaunted…is this India ? Zakir has gone but Ravi ( who is himslef shocked at surviving ) hangs on thanks to his girl friend. And puhleeeez…don’t tell me this is a live reality show. Have you noticed the audience ? Apart from the parents and girlfriends…the audience is a well rehearsed one…wearing matching clothese at time, carrying placards that almost fake. For a live audience look at Sa re ga ma or American Idol…you can see the audience behind the judges reacting to the songs…not this `cut and paste’ crap. Why am I so disappointed ? I used to like the show & everyone knows Rithisha is outstanding…yet the partial judges are doing everything possible to rob her of her crown. This is after all `Punjab Nation’ !!
This show is a bull shit show. Ismail and Shukhwinder are not fit to be judges. I have stopped seeing the show after SAYANTINI got eliminated by Ismail’s discrimination.
Sukvindar is downgrading out Ritisha when she is probably the best singer. If this is a North-South rift issue, he should not forget that his first and probably biggest song was in a movie whose producer and music director are both South Indians.

I am a viewer from Canada (I ensure that I am home for 7pm every Friday & Saturday night when those shows are aired here)of both SA RE GA MA PA & VOI and it is clear that VOI is being manipulated.
Are the Judges /directors puppets on a string and dancing to someone else’s song.
I agree to the judges calling on the public to vote for the singers who have so much promise without being partial to any one in particular. There are others who have been voted off who viewers feel should still be there but that is the nature of the program. They should have waited for the new programm to introduce new rules…e.g… voters account for half of the marks and the judges, the other half…that way the judges would have their input.
The Judges should encourage all the singers and as a matter of fact should help with the song selection as some of them whilst nice are poor choices for a competition of such grandeur.
At the onset, the rules are clear… the participants are voted to stay in the programme by the viewers and of course the judges give their feedback( in some instances, I’m sure that the judges’ comments influence viewers voting).
It is outrageous that Monty et al would vote to call back Vipul, Mallar & Zakir (I like all three of them and I think that they are excellent singers) however, the format of the show is that the decision is made by the voting public.
They last three standing before the call back are now in the bottom three…. All three of them should graciously walk off the sets and let the judges and the directors of the show have the showdown between Mallar & Vipul.
By the way was Vipul in one those shows last year & was voted off early as well (I may be wrong here, please correct me.
I am very disappointed by the way it is being done.
Last year’s VOI ended with Ishmeet winning (may his soul rest in peace & may his family always be consloed that their son/brother won the hearts of many of us who feel that we actually knew him personally…I simply loved him, he made me cry so many times as did many of the other participants,…I think he was superb even though it was felt that Harshit was the winner … it was accepted that Ishmeet won by the amount of votes he received from his stronghold of Punjab…. no big thing, the two finalists were top of the class singers but neither were voted off and recalled to take someone else’s win.
I expect to see a much wiser choice of songs for the remaining of the program and if Vipul & Mallar are the two finalists I know a lot of the Canadians would certainly not be tuning in to the program.
It is not my intention to offend anyone( viewers, participants, judges, directors/staff) and I humbly apologize in advance if anyone is indeed offended.

i jus have to say…that i will officially stop watchin the show and stop voting today as zakir was thrown out of the competition…n that tooo while he was standin in competition with Ravi..that is simply bullshit…ravi is the worst singer ever…and throwing zakr out n keeping ravi was jus crazy..i have lost my interest in the show…dont worry zakir u will always be the star of that show…those judges have no clue what they have lost…i hope ravi is kicked off next..he doesnt deserve to be still there.
well if singers like Atif Aslam can be a super star then people really don’t know anything about good or bad singing they just vote for the one they like…
Judges are doing exactly the thing that is needed…they are not favouring Vipul they are favouring the one who sings good…
for god’s sake man…ths is a show that is suppose to bring out talent not eliminate them…Ravi is teh weekest contestent in history of VOI…and i don’t he has got his lucky charm with him or sumthing….or may be its his love story in the show thats keeping him alive… Malhar, Vipul and Starparna do posses exceptional skills man..thats why they have been brought up… do you think that Ravi could be the one to represent INDIAN VOICE on international Platform…imagine RAVI performing int he world music festival representing India…as VOICE oF INDIA>..everyone is gonna Laugh their A$$E$$ off on that guy and Offcourse INdia that over a billion people and ths is wht they got to represent India..on other hand Vipul, Mallr or Saptaparna could atleast do justice with the indian voice..cuz on international level u don’t have to sing a sensational pop song with a twisted and besuri voice…u have to sing wht your country’s music is about your roots, your classical assets which these three contestents can do…thats all i gotta say…. I think sukhvinder and ismail need to be kicked out along with their cronies Vipul and Mallar – let the competition be decided according to rules set forth, don’t change the rules based on whims of some idiots who think they are masters of music.
Hi, I love rithisha a lot and i have been seeing rithisha singing lot good and giving her best shot. Mr. Ismail know about singing. Ismail Darbar, i think as you are not getting any chances in Hindi films, you are not letting singers like Rithisha to come up and get her a chance. I think you should try bojpuri arena and let Saptaparna sing for you in all movies. I used to like you as a Judge in Saregamapa challenge, but you are very cunning as i came to know through VOI-2. Thanks a lot VOI. I think be a man enough to encourage good talent. Give roshini to nice talent and not to a roshini of yours.
